LPO 2018/2019 Season Dear LPO Friends and Family, We are excited to unveil the LPO's 2018-2019 season, Orchestral All-Stars! I hope you’ll join me and the LPO musicians as we explore the essential compositions in our canon alongside new works destined to join them. We’ll also welcome back some dear friends as soloists, including Vadim Gluzman (violin) and Anne-Marie McDermott (piano), and exciting new guests, such as Jennifer Koh (violin) and BBC Young Musician of the Year Sheku Kanneh-Mason (cello).

LPO NEWS I'm also thrilled to announce that I have accepted an invitation extended by the LPO Board of Trustees to continue as LPO Music Director and Principal Conductor through 2022. I am so pleased to have the opportunity to continue the important work we're undertaking for our community. PAULETTE AND FRANK STEWART CLASSICS SERIES Beginning with the 2018-2019 season, our Classics series will feature an important distinction. Long-time LPO patrons Paulette and Frank Stewart have generously agreed to underwrite our Classics series for the next five years! Please join me in thanking the Stewarts for their generosity, which will sustain our artistry for years to come. The LPO has celebrated some significant achievements these past few seasons. From returning to the Orpheum Theater to making our Carnegie Hall debut, LPO patrons have been the source of our success. As you complete your subscription, please consider making a gift of your own to the LPO - a gift to our community.

Sincerely,

Carlos Miguel Prieto
