THE BASICS PARENT COMMUNICATION AT LRCA Being informed is easy at LRCA. We have multiple ways for you to receive information and stay in the loop! For questions please email Communications@LittleRockChristian.com •

LittleRockChristian.com: Our website is full of information, from athletic events to school news. When you log in, you will have access to your child’s class schedule and grades. For specific back to school information visit www.LittleRockChristian.com/ BackToSchool

Warrior Weekly newsletter: Beginning in July, you will receive an eWeekly newsletter every Monday. This will give you important information for the coming week.

The Warrior: This is the magazine of LRCA, published twice a year. In it, you will find articles that tell the story of our school, from students to faculty to alumni. The LRCA APP: Little Rock Christian Academy’s app for iPhones, iPods and iPads allows student, faculty and parent constituents to take full advantage of the evergrowing mobile phenomenon by delivering content from the website directly to their iOS-based devices. Download by searching “LRCA” in the App Store, or go to www.LittleRockChristian.com/app The RenWeb APP: RenWeb Home App for Parents RenWeb Home provides access to the features in ParentsWeb via a mobile app. Parents and students have instant access to school and academic information, including online lunch ordering, attendance, homework, and more. RenWeb Home is available for iOS (iPhone or iPad) and Android devices for an annual subscription of $4.99 per household.

FOOD SERVICE WITH SPROUTS The campus food service is owned and operated by Little Rock Christian Academy. Tasty menu options with many favorites and best sellers are available. Healthy, flavorpacked recipes - no fried foods, only baked and oven crisped choices.

Here is how it works: Elementary school is offered one hot meal per day from a preset menu or optional combos. Milk, water and juice may be purchased separately. No a la carte options will be available in elementary in order to simplify the selection process. Each morning when class attendance is taken, your elementary student will be asked what they are ordering for lunch or if they brought their lunch. MS/JH/HS students will choose, as they progress through the food line, from the available Café Classics (preset hot plate menu items), The Grille Company (burgers, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, etc.) and Garden and Deli Depot (fresh salads, sandwiches, wraps, fruit parfaits, etc.). After selection, they will proceed to a cashier and swipe their school-issued ID card for deduction from their online MyPaymentsPlus account. What you need to know: The lunch program uses a prepayment program using the My Payments Plus Online Prepayment System. This prepaid account will be debited each time your child eats lunch at Sprouts. Please note payments may also be brought to the LRCA business office (made payable to “Valley Services”) which will be forwarded for credit to your lunch accounts. Families are encouraged to download the My Payment Plus app for your mobile device and set low balance notification alerts for each student. From the app, you are also able to view the itemized list of purchases from each student’s account. Negative balances are not permitted. Once an account reaches $0.00, the student may purchase a prepared brown bag of cheese crackers, fruit and carrot sticks at a cost of $2.00 to their account until the account is reloaded. We look forward to feeding your families. Should you have any questions please contact Sprouts Food Service office at 501-975-3446 or email Sprouts@LittleRockChristian.com.

WARRIOR CLUB T he Warrior Fight Song rings through campus all year as 34 junior high and high school teams compete in various sports. All of those programs are supported financially (over and above the school’s operating budget) by the Warrior Club.

Advertising, concession sales, and proceeds from the gates go directly to support student athletes. Warrior Club memberships and sponsorships, as well as proceeds from the Warrior Store and the annual golf tournament, also provide the funding required to develop competitive teams in the Arkansas Activities Association 5A classification. This volunteer board oversees a budget used exclusively to back programs by equipping concession stands, funding bus transportation to athletic events, and training coaches; as well as purchasing uniforms, equipment, awards and celebrations for all sports. The Warrior Club also funds capital projects around campus, such as the new baseball bleachers, and keeps sports facilities up to date. The Warrior Club board is comprised of nineteen dedicated LRCA parents led by President Fred Lord and Athletic Director Johnny Watson.
