“If you don’t know where you’re going, it doesn’t matter how you get there.” the Rabbit to Alice in Lewis CarrolL’s Alice in Wonderland
STRATEGIC VISIONING Our commitment to Enhancing Client Strategies® is based in our core belief that a successful project is more than simple “bricks and mortar.” It is your story, deeply understood, which sparks us to create distinctive, purposeful spaces that will inspire your enterprise. Our architects and designers bring proven expertise, probing analytics, and simple listening to understand you, your staff, and your clients. This process leads to exceptional results. We are dedicated to the proposition that your design is about you—your needs, your vision, and your strategies for success. We have designed a unique process to ensure that we have a deep understanding of what you dream, want, and need before we draw the first line—Strategic Visioning.
Deep understanding demands more of us than just an architectural perspective. It requires insight gained through research from the worlds of psychology, social anthropology, and science, and may also include planners, engineers, sustainability experts, and specialty expertise consultants—the entire team focused on your story. Working with these diverse points of view, our team considers every aspect of your building. How will it be used? What are the largest challenges you face in your internal and external operations? Where are your biggest opportunities? What does your market demand today and in the future? This inquiry creates clarity. Ultimately, it leads us to discover the soul of the space you have entrusted us to create for you.

MIXED USE One size never fits all. That’s our approach to every project, and it is especially important in the arena of mixed-use development. Design of complex mixed-use development entails equal parts of the art of placemaking and fundamental technical knowledge of the components that make up these projects, along with the ability to mesh these two into a dynamic whole that captures your vision. The key is listening, and delivering outstanding solutions.

RESEARCH Scientific discoveries often occur at lightning speed—so quickly that the spaces in which they are developed often fail to keep up. We have developed a unique ability to bring full functionality and modernity and increased efficiency to dated research spaces. As evidence, we added floors to an existing building’s expandable structural system and completed all interior upfit work while maintaining full operability of the existing facility—without compromising even the ability to perform delicate eye surgeries during construction on the floor above.
