• 11% of the Class of 2012 was recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation – 13 National Merit Semifinalists – 14 National Merit Commended Students • Class of 2011 – 99% of the Class of 2011 is attending 84% colleges and universities in 20 states – Collectively earned over $25.5 million in documented Scholarships and Grants – 73% earned Merit-Based and/or Athletic Scholarships • 184 students are members of the National Honor Society • 98 AP scholars, including eight National Scholars • 20 Advanced Placement Courses offered • 257 students took 560 AP exams – 84 % scored 3 or better (recommended grade for college) • Over 135 academic courses
Commitment TO SERVICE
• 21 volunteer community service projects • Service conducted seven days a week • Local, national and international summer service opportunities – a total of over 200 students – 40% of the upper classmen – and 27 faculty members participated in Building Bridges of Solidarity in Bolivia, Navajo Nation Experience in Arizona, Project Appalachia in Kentucky, De La Salle Blackfeet Immersion in Montana, Gulf Coast Immersion in Louisiana, Urban Immersion in Philadelphia, and the Lasallian Youth Assembly in Philadelphia • Innovative Father/Son Branch-Out Day service program for freshmen and sophomores • Thanksgiving Food Drive collected 10,000 non-perishable canned goods • 87 juniors participated in three Junior Urban Challenge overnight service learning projects at the Romero Center in Camden, NJ • Operation Santa Claus and Secret Santa collected over 2,600 gifts and raised in excess of $9,000 – 110 students and ten faculty members delivered gifts on Christmas Eve • Through” La Salle Responds” the school community raised $27,000 to benefit thirty charities

• Technology – Completely wireless campus enhanced by Gigabit fiber optic backbone connecting all classrooms and offices – Thirty-five state-of-the-art Windows 2008 R2 servers, including dedicated space for student accounts and files – First school in the nation to fully implement Microsoft Exchange 2010 – TV production and broadcast studio with editing equipment and operating systems for live programs and taped productions – Four computer labs with over 150 Nehalen i7 workstations, Windows 7 Desktops, and access to the complete Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus Package – Multimedia Lab with over eighty workstations for student and faculty teaching and production, including scanners, laser printers, and CD flash DVD Burners – Outstanding library and media center with capability for thirty-four online reference programs – Computer Lab internship for qualified students who amassed fifteen Microsoft certifications – additional 70 students have earned an MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate) certification – All fifty-seven instructional areas are equipped with a SMART Board, HD projection TV, DVD, and high-performance sound system
• Music Facilities – La Salle’s excellent music facilities include an ensemble practice room large enough to house our largest performing groups. Choral rooms, space for instrumental instruction, and a digital music lab round out a facility that can accommodate the almost 300 students involved in La Salle’s highly acclaimed music program. • Athletic Facilities – La Salle has been blessed with extensive athletic facilities, which include a main gym, auxiliary gym for wrestling and other athletic activities, a fitness center with a full-time Strength and Conditioning Instructor, an erg room for rowing, indoor and outdoor pools, six-lane track, five tennis courts, seven athletic fields, a walking trail, and a boathouse located on Boathouse Row. • Guidance and Counseling Centers – College Counseling, Class Level Counseling, Academic Support Counseling, David Program
