Hansell House is a refurbished Grade II listed building. It once was part of the historic Nicholson & Co garment factory that dates from the beginning of the 20th century. The building design retains its decorative Dutch Gables and elaborate terracotta detailing. In addition two courtyards have been included within the design, glass roofs fill the courtyards with light and the courtyards display the original trusses and the north-lights of the listed building. The apartments created are akin to ‘loft conversions’. They make use of the varied space and provide quirky and practical living spaces.
