O rio Pinheiros, tema e lugar, plataforma de investigação continuada em expansão, transformou-se para nós. Primeiro, como imagem-situação rio. Depois, como objeto rio, após a retificação. A realidade nos redimensionou: proibidos de acessar a margem, percebemos que é preciso que o rio seja visto no presente. A partir daí, vêm as utopias, seu futuro imaginado.

O stêncil surge como intervenção desmaterializada, grafada na espera do cotidiano: faixas de pedestres, guardacorpos, esquinas onde originalmente o rio passava. Ação aberta à participação. Você verá o rio, seu valor? Aproveitará a margem como lazer? Ou poderá tornarse rio, colocar-se em sua condição? O que você imagina para o rio?

The River Pinheiros, theme and place, platform for continuing investigation in expansion, is now transformed for us. Firstly, as a River image-situation. Then, as an object River, after adjustment. The reality resized us: prohibited of accessing the riverbank, we realized that it is necessary that the River be seen in the present. Since then, come the utopias, the imagined future.

The stencil arises as dematerialized intervention, misspelled, waiting for the everyday: pedestrian crossings, glass keepers, corners where the River originally had passed by. Action open to participation. Will you see the River, its value? Will enjoy the riverbank for leisure? Or, alternatively will become the River itself, be in its condition? What do you imagine for the River?

Usar a cenografia como grande artista de uma intervenção urbana faz da cidade um palco com inúmeras possibilidades. No caderno FUTURO, o Rio Pinheiros sofreu uma intervenção, tornando-se elemento e palco. Com esse conceito nasce o projeto, a construção de uma plataforma flutuante com tela de projeção criada por um chafariz dentro do rio.

Using the scenography as great artist of urban intervention turns the city into a stage with many possibilities. In the notebook FUTURO, the River Pinheiros suffered intervention, becoming element and stage. With this concept, the Project is born, the construction of a new floating platform with projecting screen created by a fountain in the river.

Entendendo o cenógrafo como aquele que cria novas abordagens de interação da arte visual com a cidade, VIRoRIO trata do Rio Pinheiros e os reflexos do seu processo de retificação na dinâmica urbana. Registra as reflexões em torno do embate entre rio, cidade e política, bem como ações de intervenção no espaço público, por onde passava o curso natural do rio.

Understanding the scenographer as the one who creates new approaches of interacion of the visual arts with the city, VIRoRIO is about the River Pinheiros and the reflexes of its process of rectification in the urban dynamics. It registers the reflection around the shock among river, city and politics, as well as intervention actions in the public space, where the river once passed by.
