SP ESCOLA DE TEATRO SP Drama School

Um dos focos mais fortes da Escola é trabalhar em todos seus experimentos, que são cenas montadas pelos aprendizes, três vezes ao semestre, e procurar relação com temas da atualidade. Sendo assim, a temática definida pela curadoria brasileira, a partir também do tema geral da PQ, veio muito ao encontro de nossa pesquisa.

One of the strongest points of the School is to work in all the experiments, which are scenes produced by the students, three times every semester, and look for a relation with present themes. This way, the thematic defined by the Brazilian trusteeship, also focusing on the general theme from PQ, came to encounter the one from our research.

Todos os projetos têm uma relação profunda com a cidade e com as políticas teatrais que as transformam.

O projeto Homo Habitats surge da urgência de se pensar as questões habitacionais na cidade de São Paulo. Tendo o corpo humano como habitação primordial, o colosso Homo Habitats, uma instalação grandiosa com edificações modulares agregadas antropomorficamente, gera uma visualidade ruidosa no cotidiano habitual dos que a circulam.

The project Homo Habitats emerges from the urgency of thinking the housing issues of the city of São Paulo. Having the human body as a primary housing, the colossus Homo Habitats, a huge installation with modular constructions anthropomorphically assembled, generates a noisy visual in the everyday lives of the ones who transit it.

Ao tratar da violência contra mulheres, negros e população LGBT no Brasil, o projeto se utiliza de fotografias, notícias e depoimentos de vítimas dessa violência. Idealizada para a Praça Franklin Roosevelt, a cenografia tem quatro movimentos: uma parede de sacos de soro com fotografias de vítimas da violência; uma câmara de sangue; uma câmara escura com relatos de agressões em áudio; uma grande lanterna-vitrine com notícias.

By treating the violence against women, black people and the LGBT population in Brazil, the project uses photographies, news and testimonials of victims of this violence. Idealized to the Franklin Roosevelt Square, the scenography has four movements: a wall of serum bags with photos of the victims; a blood chamber; a dark chamber with reports of aggression in audio; a huge flashlight showcase with News.
