TPF’s Annual June Luncheon and Awards Presentation Program was held on 6/14/2014. During the “Pearls of Friendship through Community Service” event, scholarship recipients, graduating EYL, and Precious Pearls were recognized. Initiative V, Social Justice and Human Rights, presented a $600.00 check to The Women’s Center’s Spare Change Saves Babies project. A $1000.00 check was presented earlier, representing funds collected by students at Meadowview School. In addition, LTO member awards were presented at the luncheon. Congratulations to the June Luncheon Committee for implementing an outstanding affair. I also congratulate all award and scholarship recipients as well as mentoring group graduates. .

Kudos to our mentoring groups for all of their volunteer hours!
*************************************************************************************************************** Sorors enjoyed the Governors’ Mansion during our visit to the State Capitol. EYL and Sorors Received a wealth of information during the AKA Day at the Capitol activity. State legislators shared their platforms and we visited senate and house proceedings.
