Hace un tiempo que estamos aquĂ­ conversando con nuestros pies al caminar y con nuestros ojos, que suelen encontrarse con los ojos de ustedes que son inmensos.

We have been here for a while, conversing by using our feet while we walk and our eyes, that often meet your eyes that are immense.

La vida de Namrata y Sunoj en Lakshmi Nivas nos hace pensar en nosotros, en nuestra manera de estar en el mundo. Somos parte del sistema y no tenemos la fuerza para abandonarlo.

Namrata and Sunoj’s life in Lakshmi Nivas makes us think of ourselves, in our way of being in the world. We are part of the system and we don’t have the strength to abandon it.

Hacer un relevamiento de las plantas, fotografiarlas, buscar informaciĂłn de cada una de ellas, y pedirle a Lucas que me las dibuje, para bordarlas. ComencĂŠ por la Taro Plant.

Examining the plants, taking pictures of them, looking for information about each one of them, and asking Lucas to draw them for me, so I could embroider them. I began with the Taro Plant.

Fui una mujer observando a otras mujeres, asĂ­ comencĂŠ a hacer objetos desde mi sentir.

I was a woman watching other women, that is how I began to create objects from what I was feeling.

Al trabajar por un tiempo en otro paĂ­s uno se pregunta si volverĂĄ a ver a los amigos. Con Sunoj nos conocimos hace doce aĂąos en Shatana, volverlo a ver es un hermoso regalo.

While working in another country, I used to wonder if I would be able to see the people I had met there ever again. Me and Sunoj met twelve years ago in Shatana; seeing him again is a wonderful gift.

Namrata y Sunoj viven Lakshmi Nivas dialogando con y en la naturaleza.

Fuimos residentes en enero de 2020, durante tres semanas habitamos ese lugar con nuestro hacer. Un hacer que por momentos era el sรณlo estar, el sรณlo ser en el paisaje.

Namrata and Sunoj live Lakshmi Nivas conversing with and in nature. In January 2020, we inhabited that place for three weeks with our pursuit. A pursuit that, at times, consisted only in being, in only being within the landscape.
