A LETTER FROM YOUR LTG Hello Huskeys! The Climax of this year is over. There is no more need to stress over Fall Rally planning, and what not. As we soon start to see these last few months zooming by, I do encourage all of you to continue supporting charity organizations and keep doing amazing service that you all do. Start preparing yourself for the last major event that we have which is DCON 2017. There you will see the new installation of District Board members and cheer your hearts out again as if Fall Rally. Also did you hear about Candidate Training Conference (CTC)?. It is for members who are inspired to be LTG’s for Division 36 West! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to contact me down below! Happy November!
A MESSAGE FROM YOUR DNE Hey Huskies! Did you all enjoy Fall Rally? Don’t forget we’re only halfway done with the Key Club year! If you didn’t go to Fall Rally or you’d like a little refresher, check out the Fall Rally recap page. Oh, and the Division Leadership Team is planning out a Fall Rally Recap video, so please look forward to it! I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and spend it when those who care about you.
Your DNE, Lucas
DISTRICT/INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATE TRAINING CONFERENCE Are you looking into becoming an officer higher than club level? You should consider attending Candidate Training Conference! “The Candidate Training Conferences (CTC) are for Key Club Members who are interested in being a candidate or a potential candidate for an office above the club level. It is now mandatory to attend the Candidate Training Conference to run for an office above the office of Lt. Governor. It is not necessary to attend the Candidate Training conference to be able to run for the office of Lt. Governor. It is mandatory that all paper work must be turned in on time and to the proper place to be able to run for any office above the club level.

DIVISION UPDATES CONCLAVE Think you got what it takes to become the next Lt. Governor for Division 36W? You definitely should attend Conclave! You should also attend the CTC for LTG candidates (See page 11) “A Conclave is an event usually run by the current Lt. Governor of the division to elect the next Lt. Governor to represent that division on the District Board. Each Dues paid club is allowed to have two voting delegates that vote for the candidate they think will do the best job.”
Conclave’s event details have yet to be finalized, so stay tuned to the Huskey Express or visit http://cnhkeyclub.org/events/conclave for more details.
OFFICER TRAINING CONFERENCE “Officer Training Conference is an annual event for new Club Officers to gain necessary leadership skills and training for the term. At OTC, various workshops are provided to cover all necessary skills to be a successful leader. Workshop presenters are thoroughly prepared to educate Club Officers about the respective duties of their position. Not only will you learn to become a better Club Officer, but you will also learn about Key Club's Major Emphasis and preferred charities. All Club Officers are strongly encouraged to attend in order to fully understand their position, grow as a leader, and learn more about their role in Key Club International. Of course, members are ALWAYS welcome to take advantage of the opportunities at OTC as well! No dates have been confirmed for this event either, so, once again, stay tuned for more
FALL RALLY RECAP On November 12, various clubs from around the CNH district attended one of the biggest Key Club spirit event of the year, Fall Rally South, at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Although we may not have won this year, I know all you Huskeys cheered your hearts out, and as long as you did your best, then you should be proud of yourselves. I hope you all had a good time, and please look forward to next year’s Fall Rally too!

SPOTLIGHT ON SERVICE “This month, our club focused on preparing for Fall Rally. On October 15th, we attended RTC which was an educational and fun experience for both officers and members. Many members have told our officers that they would like to attend another training conference in the future! On October 29th, we attended the October Social to learn cheers for Fall Rally! Our members were very excited, and loved participating in spirit battles. On October 31st, we helped the City of Fontana and Don Day Center with their Monster Bash event. Members assisted with games, handing out surveys, and celebrating Halloween with the children of our community. We are so thankful for the members who spent their Halloween performing community service! Due to Fall Rally planning, we couldn't plan many service events this past month, but we are planning many events for the future. -Kaylyn Hoy, Jurupa Hills High School Key Club President
