THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT

Instead, Monster Energy supports the scene, their bands, their athletes and their fans! Monster Energy is committed to our event and the success of the Mammoth Motocross. It’s great to have them as partners with so much passion and support.

We give kudos to Racer X for their continued understanding and belief in the core of our sport.
MY LUCAS OIL
Jason and Rachel have spent the past few years on the road with the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross and continue to promote them. We were able to drag them into the amateur world and now they have fallen in love with it like we have. The commitment from these two was unsurpassed. What a great addition to our world and we couldn’t have done it without them.
DC
Nate Hawley and the boys from DC love our event and continue to find ways to stay involved through any means possible. DC was founded in 1994, quickly grew to become a leader in performance skateboarding shoes and a renowned action sports brand. Today, DC stands as a global brand whose product line has expanded to include men’s, women’s and kids’ skateboarding and lifestyle shoes, apparel, snowboards, snowboard boots, outerwear, and accessories. As one of the cornerstones of its marketing strategy, DC has built a world-class team of professional skateboarding, snowboarding, and motocross athletes that exemplify and enhance DC’s brand, develop its signature products, and support its promotional efforts. Thanks, Nate, for making this happen each year.
HART & HUNTINGTON
RCH and H & H is an integral player in motocross culture. With Carey Hart and Kenny Watson originating in grass roots racing, they continue to partner with the Mammoth Motocross to promote their legacy to future generations. Long-time fans of Mammoth in both winter and summer, the H & H Team rips it up on the mountain. They bring their well known product and personality to another great Mammoth Motocross event. Thanks for being so innovative in our sport and continuing to be involved with Mammoth as well.
FMF RACING
FMF Racing was started in 1973 by owner and founder Don Emler in a garage in Hawthorne, CA. Flash forward almost 40 years later where Uncle Donnie is still as HANDS ON as ever building the latest in performance in our state-of-the-art factory. FMF’s goal will never change - take the most advanced machinery to its limit by building the world’s best performing machines. Lil’D and the FMF crews continue to bring unparalleled passion to the Mammoth MX and amateur racing industry. Please stop and thank them for the constant reminder of what can be achieved with hard work and commitment
FLY RACING
Vibrant, durable, and super fly, are terms that easily describe the Fly Racing motocross brand. Established in 1996, Fly Racing motocross originally began as a manufacturer of motorcycle handlebars and helmets and has quickly evolved into one of the fastest growing off-road riding apparel and hard parts brands. Whether you’re riding with the Fly Racing dirt bike gloves or looking to improve your safety with a new helmet, there’s one thing for sure, your new Fly Racing motocross accessories will be boldly eye-catching and stand the test of time for all the wear and tear you will come across on your Fly Racing dirt bike. Mike Williamson and the whole WPS group really love this sport and continue to do so much for racers from top to bottom. Their efforts are to support and to make sure you get the best quality products so you can look good and concentrate on racing.
PIRELLI
The Pirelli brand continues to grow here on the West Coast, and Josh Whitmore continues to step up the support and care about the tire you choose. A long time sponsor of the Road to Mammoth and the Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross, Pirelli returns here and will reward some top finishers this year and with a new set of Pirelli’s performance tires. We are pleased to have them involved in our event once again.
GOPRO
GoPro is jumping in this year in a big way. With Dan Kelsay returning to motocross, he is out to set the world on fire here at our event. We are excited to include GoPro as a new partner this year. Go by their booth space on Vendor Row and check out the super MX racer deals at the retail trailer.
Our supporters and official product sponsors have been a big part of the Road to Mammoth this year. Their continued support of the Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross shows their commitment to this fantastic event. Their overall loyalty is greatly appreciated. Please support our sponsors.

What a great season we had producing the 2015 Road to Mammoth. We would like to thank 2XPromotions and the entire crew for putting on fun, safe races for riders and their families to enjoy. Last year Myron Short and 2X Promotion’s crew was named “AMA Promoter of the Year” after the success of the RTM14 season. continued from page 11 The 250 B and B/C Open classes brought the battles, with frontrunners #48 Yamaha rider Blake Green and #37 Troy Lee Designs / Lucas Oil / KTM rider Sean Cantrell vying for the first position spot. While they each won a moto in 250 B, it was Green came out on top in both classes. Cantrell, who seemed right at home on his new KTM ride, went on to finish first in Schoolboy 2 (13-16), rounding out the day with an overall win, and two second place finishes. Maximus Vohland dominated the 65cc classes on his #711 KTM, fending off speedsters Jett Reynolds and Hunter Yoder to sweep four motos for two overall wins. But it was #79 Team Green rider Reynolds with a seamless 1-1 win in 85cc 9-11 later that day. A Road to Mammoth regular, #33 Derek Drake dominated in the Supermini classes, emerging as a frontrunner this year after missing Mammoth Motocross last year with a broken arm. He holeshotted and won three of four motos in Supermini 1 and 2, for two overall wins ahead of Pierce Brown and Zach Darnley, respectively. Brown went on to have a very successful day in Mini Sr 1 and 2, with three moto wins for two overalls on his #63 KTM. In the 250 Pro class, the overall win appeared to be in the hands of Troy Lee Designs / Lucas Oil / KTM rider #615 Justin Hoeft, who kept just ahead of #151 Yamaha rider Ryan Surratt in the first moto. But in motocross, nothing is predictable, and a crash on the always formidable Mount St. Helens in moto two left Hoeft battling his way through the pack. He rounded out the day with fourth place overall, leaving Surratt with the overall win. Sean Collier, who turned heads at Mammoth Motocross last year when he hit the track on a beastly KX500, returned for the 2015 season, sweeping both motos in the Vet 25+ A/B/C class on his #207 Kawi green machine ahead of Arik Swan and Drew Collins.

2015 Mammoth Motocross
With a huge turnout of talented riders, round 1 Glen Helen set the Monster Energy Road to Mammoth series in motion, propelling riders forward into another season of epic battles for AMA King of the West Championships.
ROUND 2, LACR MX, FEBRUARY 22ND With dark clouds and strong gusts of winds, it looked like an ominous start to a race day. But in the end, the fast and fierce riding on the famed and recently reopened LACR Raceway outweighed all of that, as the Monster Energy Road to Mammoth Motocross series continued with its second leg.
After closing its gates five years ago so the track could be mined for granite, LACR is back up and running and was in fine form Sunday. Over 600 riders from as close as Bakersfield to as far away as Argentina took to the track to vie for a chance to compete in Mammoth in June. Mitchell Falk was on his A-game at LACR, going 1-1 in both Schoolboy 1 and 2, for two overall wins on his #612 KTM ride against competitors Derek Drake and Derek Kelley, respectively. With his smooth style, Falk, a 2014 King of the West Champion, proved to be a title threat once again in 2015. Troy Lee Designs / Lucas Oil / KTM pro rider Jessy Nelson set the bar in the pro classes, getting in some seat time as he took a break from Monster Energy Supercross during the 250SX East. He won every moto in three pro classes, even after choosing to ride last out of the gate, proving once again the skill and stamina required to make it in the pro ranks.
Yamaha rider #663 Rookie White furthered his King of the West points lead at LACR, going 1-1 for the 450 B win once more as before at Glen Helen. He beat out #14 Renton Minuto and #214 Blain Silveira who battled for second in both motos. Haiden Deegan ran some solid motos in the 50cc and 65cc classes on his #238 KTM, but came up just shy of a win behind #711 Cobra rider Jordan Torres in the 50cc class, and #199 Kawasaki rider Ryder Difrancesco in both 65cc classes. For the second round in a row, the #11 Kawasaki rider Zariah Pitts took the win in the Women’s 12+ class, giving herself a solid points lead for the King of the West title. Following two rounds, several riders had made a strong impression as frontrunners in the battle for the AMA King of the West crown. Along with the AMA title red plate and first gate pick at the finals, KOTW winners will receive Lucas Oil pit/hospitality at Mammoth Motocross, discounts on amenities in Mammoth Lakes, CA, and lots of sponsor prizes. Those riders and countless others will be on display at the Mammoth Motocross, when the long Road to Mammoth culminates with the finals. Expect a fast and talented field of competitors, which has become the norm for this famed west coast series.
ROUND 3, PORTERVILLE OHV, MARCH 15
We’d made it to the midpoint of the Monster Energy Road to Mammoth series, with Sunday’s Porterville round 3 pushing new riders into qualifying positions for the Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross in June. The clouds cleared after a
gloomy round 2 at LACR, giving way to brilliant blue skies and crisp hot sun that baked the adobe soil of the Porterville track. Rough though it was, rider #294 Josh Camarena dominated his hometown track, sweeping four motos for two first place podiums in Open Pro Sport and 450 Pro Sport. Camarena was consistently fast out the gate and first over the jump, leaving the competition struggling to keep up time and time again. Camarena’s performance at Porterville put him in the points lead for the AMA King of the West title in both classes. #156 Zach Darnley was on the gas at Porterville, holeshotting his EMT Racing-built Kawasaki to two overall wins in Supermini 1 and Supermini 2. He also went 1st / 2nd for a second place overall in Mini Sr, rounding out the day with three podiums and a solid advancement in the KOTW points. After Porterville Darnley led the points for the AMA King of the West Championship ahead of some fast competition, including Derek Drake and Tyson Johnson.
450 B classes. He rounded out the day with a third overall win in 250 B, making him a top contender in the King of the West points race. Also with three overall wins, KTM rider #33 Derek Drake swept six out of six motos, beating out fellow KOTW Championship contender Zach Darnley in Supermini 1 and 2. Kinser Endicott set the bar for speed in Open Pro Sport on his #118 Kawasaki after sweeping both motos. He looked set to take the win in 450 Pro after a moto one win, but a setback in the second moto left him in fourth place, and just out of reach of the overall win behind #620 Yamaha rider Brad Naaditt.
Franklin took home two wins at Oatfield in the 250 and 450 C classes beating out Kawasaki rider #35 Jordan Miracle.
ROUND 5, PRAIRIE CITY, APRIL 26TH
As the King of the West points race heats up, riders leave Prairie City just one race away from the Championship, and one race away from Mammoth Motocross.
KOTW points leader #114 KTM rider Sam
Jonathan Camarena also came out strong at his local track, going 1st/3rd for third overall in the FMF 2-Stroke Challenge, and sweeping both motos for the win in the Vet class on his #74 Yamaha.
ROUND 4, OATFIELD MX, MARCH 29TH
The riders left it all out on the track at round four of the Monster Energy Road to Mammoth series, battling for points toward the AMA King of the West title. The competition was fiercer than ever at Oatfield Raceway. The day belonged to Cole Barbieri who swept all four motos in 250 B/C Open and

Michael Mosiman returned to the King of the West Championship points race at Prairie City, turning heads when he swept four motos for two overall wins in 250 B/C Open and Schoolboy 2 on his #342 KTM. Mosiman battled tough competition, including Dare Demartile and Cole Barbieri, in 250 B, but it was #500 Honda rider Austin Walton who won the second moto for the overall win. Michael wasn’t the only Mosiman winning motos at Prairie City. His brother Josh Mosiman 250 Pro Sport and Open Pro Sport, with four moto wins leading him to victory. He fought for the first position spot in both motos of the 450 Pro class, but came up just shy of the win behind #65 Kawasaki rider Tanner Berry. Monster Energy Road to Mammoth regular #199 Ryder Difrancesco took the 65cc 7-9 class ahead of points contenders Parker Ross and Dominic Vaccarello. 2014 King of the West Champion Carson Mumford returned to the Road to Mammoth series and took home three overall wins at Prairie City. He shut out the competition in Mini Sr 1 and 2 for two seamless overall wins. In Supermini 1 he came back in moto two to win the overall ahead of fellow KTM rider #55 Austin Black. Maximus Vohland continued his domintation at Prairie City, solidifying his King of the West points lead with five moto wins for three overall wins on the day. The #711 KTM rider managed to stay ahead of some tough opponents, including Parker Ross and Evan Mays.

AMA King of the West Champions were crowned at the final RTM LCQ round at Lake Elsinore
The long and winding Road to Mammoth made its final stop Sunday in Southern California, as riders from all around flocked to Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park for the final round of the Road to Mammoth Motocross. Riders were not only vying for a coveted spot in the famed race at Mammoth Mountain, they were also jockeying for the title of King of the West. Conditions were optimal in Lake Elsinore, as rainy weather and cloudy skies cleared Sunday morning as the riders took to the track. Cole Barbieri and Blake Green were at it again at Lake Elsinore, battling it out for the win in the
250 B/C Open class. Barbieri held the lead in both motos on his #972 Yamaha for the AMA KOTW Championship. Green #48 didn’t come up empty-handed. Though he nearly missed the overall win after going 1-2 in 250 B, he held on to his points lead for the championship. In College Boy A/B/C, #214 Honda rider Blaine Silveira swept both motos, taking home both the overall win and the AMA KOTW Championship ahead of Jovan Pulgar.

Ryan Surratt returned to Monster Energy Road to Mammoth series at Lake Elsinore. Though he hadn’t earned enough points to take home any titles, he did turn heads with his seven moto wins on the day, for four overall wins in the pro classes, along with the FMF 2-Stroke Challenge. 2014 KOTW Champion #325 Kawasaki rider Stilez Robertson came to Lake Elsinore to give points frontrunner Carson Mumford a run for his money in Supermini 1 and Mini Sr 2. Battles ensued between the two Kawasaki riders, with
Mumford holding on to the win in Supermini 1, and being overtaken by Robertson in Mini Sr 2. But it was Zach Darnley with the championship in that class, holding on to his points lead from his dominance in earlier rounds. Mumford also took home the championship in Mini Sr 1 after sweeping both motos for the overall win. The #612 KTM rider Mitchell Falk proved to be unstoppable in the Schoolboy classes at Lake Elsinore, though #500 Honda rider Austin Walton came close in Schoolboy 2. Falk took home two championships in Schoolboy 1 and

2 after two overall wins at Lake Elsinore. Ian Fitz-Gibbon swept four motos for two overall wins, as well as two AMA championships in 40 A and 50 A/B at the final RTM round. All KOTW winners will be running red plates at Mammoth Motocross, and will no doubt be top contenders for Mammoth championships and of course, the coveted bear trophies.

KEEP OUR WILDLIFE WILD It is our responsibility in the Eastern Sierra to KEEP WILDLIFE WILD. The best way of doing this, and of preventing bears from becoming dependant on humans for food, is to follow these common-sense rules: • Never feed any wildlife or leave food out for bears or other wild animals • Securely store food and fragrant items such as shampoo and deodorant in an airtight container • When camping, use a bear-proof box • Don’t leave food, even in a cooler, in a car, in a tent, or other unsecured location • Don’t leave pet food outdoors or use a bird feeder. Bears love birdseeds! • Always deposit trash in a bearproof trash can or dumpster • Keep your car locked and your garage door closed • Close and lock all windows when no one is in your camp
It is not unusual to see black bears wandering through town. Enjoy them, but keep your distance. If you see a bear that is misbehaving, such as trying to get into a dumpster, vehicle or building, call 911 immediately. The town’s wildlife specialist and police officers are trained to handle situations such as these. Bears are shy and generally afraid of people. If you feel threatened by a bear, yell or bang on something to scare the bear away. If by chance a bear enters a structure looking for food while you are inside, make a lot of noise, go into another room, close the door, and call 911. The bear will most likely be more frightened than you and leave. For more information on coexisting with wildlife in Mammoth Lakes, please contact: Steve Searles Town Wildlife Specialist 760.937.BEAR
PLEASE REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING WHILE YOU ARE RIDING IN THE AREA DO’S • STAY ON OHV ROUTES! • Respect other trail users • Ride at a safe speed • Have your current registration and green sticker visible on your bike (race bikes are an exception to this while on the track) • Obey all OHV laws • Slow down near all campsites and public areas • Get a map of approved riding before venturing out riding DON’TS • RIDE OFF THE OHV ROADS! • Operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs • Ride recklessly • Forget your helmet • Ride on hiking, bicycle, or horse trails • Ride rhino/golf carts near the Mammoth Motocross area PENALTIES • IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION FROM 2015 MOTOCROSS EVENT • Potential discontinuation from future Motocross events • Fines, determined by the US Forest Service and Mammoth Lakes Police Department TRAIL RIDING IN AREA For those of you who have been coming to Mammoth Lakes to recreate for years, you know about all the amazing terrain there is to enjoy. With about 2,000,000 acres of forest. At one time we were in jeopardy of losing the Mammoth Motocross forever. Riders coming to this area seemed to get bored with the hundreds of miles of trail the US Forest Service made available.
The concern is not over breaking the rules, but more about the safety of other peoples and re-growth of forested areas. If we can prove that during Motocross season, off-trail riding can be eliminated, we will have a very good chance to continue the motocross event year after year. Improper operation of OHV’s causes damage to land, wildlife, and/or vegetation resource!
VEHICLES & CAMPING MOTOR VEHICLE USE INFORMATION In general, Motor Vehicle Use (including MOTORCYCLES, MINI-BIKES and ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLES) is permitted on existing roads and some trails on the INYO NATIONAL FOREST if they are licensed and equipped in accordance with California State law. HOWEVER, Off-Road and Off-Trail travel is not allowed on the Inyo National Forest or in the Mammoth Lakes area. In addition, several old trails near the motocross track are closed to vehicle travel to prevent conflicts between motor vehicle users and others, such as hikers and horse back riders. These closed trails are posted. There is no parking permitted on Sherwin Creek Road or on the access road to the motocross track. Once the parking area at the track fills up, all additional vehicles will be required to park in town or at the Sherwin Gravel Pit. The pit is located approximately a mile and a quarter from the track and is served by shuttle bus. All spectators will use the provided shuttle bus to get to the track. Travel on graded dirt and gravel roads that can be used by conventional passenger autos is restricted to vehicles that are "street legal" according to California State law (lights, muffler, license plate, operator's license, etc.). An exception, and the exemption is limited only to practice and competition sessions, is that competitors with pit passes will be allowed to ride their bikes on Sherwin Creek Road between the Sherwin Gravel Pit and the Sherwin Creek Campground only. This is allowed only for the competitors, and competitors need to respect other users of the road and the adjoining natural resources. No pit bikes will be allowed at the track; only race bikes will be allowed in the track area. Please observe posted speed limits. Once pit parking is full, all other users will need to either use the bus or walk. The Motocross Track will be a closed track (event maintenance, practice and race only)
from June 4 to July 5. During this time period, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area is allowed to charge a track fee for practice or racing, as set forth in the approved Operating Plan. ATV operators must comply with California State law, which prohibits carrying passengers, requires the wearing of helmets, and requires operators under age 14 to be supervised by a parent or authorized adult who is in possession of an ATV Certificate, and operators age 14 through 17 to be in possession of an ATV Certificate. All vehicle use within campgrounds is limited to entering and leaving the campground. "Cruising around the Campground" is prohibited. Contact the Forest Service Visitor Center for information regarding areas where you can ride.
CAMPING INFORMATION Camping near the town of Mammoth Lakes is limited to DEVELOPED CAMPGROUNDS ONLY. Camping or campfires at the Motocross track are strictly prohibited. Rough camping in undeveloped areas away from the Town of Mammoth Lakes is allowed on most of the district. Campfire permits are required if you are planning to have a campfire or use a stove or barbecue outside of an enclosed vehicle. The use of campfires is subject to restriction depending on fire danger. Contact the Forest Service Visitor Center in Mammoth Lakes for permits and information on dispersed camping and fire restrictions. Forest Service Officers will be actively patrolling the vicinity of the Motocross and camping areas and will be available to provide information and issue campfire permits. These officers will also be enforcing our regulations concerning public safety and resource protection.
MAMMOTH MOTOCROSS FACILITIES - USFS REQUIREMENTS BIKE WASHING • •
Absolutely NO bike washing at the track! Washing of bike in the forest is prohibited. There are facilities in the town of Mammoth Lakes for washing. Enforcement could occur.
WELCOME MOTOCROSS RIDERS The Inyo National Forest welcomes you to 2015 Mammoth Motocross. The Motocross track and its adjacent facilities are located on National Forest System lands and are operated by Mammoth Mountain Ski Area under a Special Use Permit with the Inyo National Forest. The 2014 Motocross benefited from the continuous improvements implemented over prior years. The multi-day race format, continued exclusion of pit bikes, improved signing and public information, as well as the provision of funds for additional patrols and volunteers all served to reduce potential impacts from the event. Volunteers in the field greatly enhanced the availability of information to the public. A greater Forest Service field presence was made possible by the employment of a seasonal Off-Highway Ranger, who assisted by providing public outreach and education, by helping prevent damage to vegetation, and by enforcing penalties resulting from riding off permitted routes and violating other vehicle regulations. It is our hope that during this year’s event we can continue to build on the successes previously achieved. It is critical that riders work together with the Inyo National Forest and Mammoth Mountain Ski Area to make sure this year’s event is safe, fun, and most importantly, that racers and other riders stay within the rules both at the racetrack and elsewhere on National Forest lands. We ask for your cooperation in making sure opportunities like the Motocross racetrack remain available to responsible riders. As in the past, the racetrack will remain closed both before and after the event. Successful maintenance of the closure remains critical to our ability to hold future events. We wish you the best of luck in this year’s race and hope you will enjoy your visit to the Mammoth Lakes area. If you want any additional information regarding OHV use on the Inyo National Forest, our campgrounds, or the Inyo National Forest in general, please call (760) 924-5500 or stop in at our Visitor Center on Highway 203 in Mammoth Lakes. Sincerely,
