Activities Students already knew professions. Teacher provided a brief explanation about the articles a and an.
Students worked in groups of three. They had to do a poster in which During- task they pasted the images of ten different professions; moreover they should construct two sentences related to the job. For instance, the first sentence was she is a teacher and she works in a school. In that way they wrote about the profession and the workplace. Post- task a gallery walk was the final product

Activities Teacher introduced vocabulary about means of transportation and places. For that, flashcard and a vocabulary race was used. They were told in advance to bring to the class magazines, paper, and colors, etc. Teacher provided some examples about what they were expected to do. Students were given the task of choosing three members of their family and three different means of transportation for each one to go to a place. This should be done in pairs. They had to expose in front of the whole class using drawings or images about the means of transportation and the place.

Students will be able to use wh questions to plan a survey
STAGES OF THE LESSON Stage Activities Teacher gave students the topic for creating a question. With the Pre- task question they created, they did the survey. Also, students received the explanation about the pie chart they should show as the final result for the survey. Students worked in groups of three. They created the question and During- task they interviewed all their classmates. E.g. They received a topic about brothers. The question they did was how many brothers do you have? As they were three in each group, each of them interviewed 12 different classmates. Then, they got together and compared results to make the pie chart. Post- task Students presented to the whole class their final Project. They did in a poster a pie chart in which they showed the results and the statistics from the survey.
