RE_DEFINE HARVARD REAL ESTATE WEEKEND 2019 EIGHTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE
On behalf of the Real Estate Clubs of the Harvard Business School (HBS) and the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD), we would like to welcome you to the 2019 Real Estate Weekend at Harvard, an opportunity to reflect, learn, debate, and be inspired! The RE_DEFINE Conference is a forum for students, academics, and professionals to identify and reconcile the rapidly changing dynamics driving the real estate industry in the 21st century. Speakers and guests this year come from as far as Australia and Dubai and attendees come from countless universities and nearly 20 U.S. states. You represent every side of this multi-faceted business: development, finance, architecture, law, economics, politics, entrepreneurship, urban planning, and more. We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring together this talented and diverse group to examine how our world is changing. The Real Estate Venture Competition (REVC) hosts early-state startups with the potential to materially impact the real estate industry. Bringing together thought leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs from all areas of the industry to judge pitches from these startups, the REVC provides a valuable opportunity for feedback and networking. The REVC finalists pitch live in front of all conference attendees, giving a glimpse into the future of real estate. This exciting weekend was made possible by our generous sponsors: The Harvard GSD (sponsored in part by a generous gift from J. W. Kaempfer, Jr. MBA ‘71), The Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board, The Baupost Group, Lisciotti Development, Stewart Title, and The Collective. Additionally, we would like to thank our incredible team of Panel Directors, Development Workshop Director, Marketing and Operations Directors, along with the REVC organizers, for their hard work and dedication. Thank you for coming and we hope you enjoy the 2019 Harvard Real Estate Weekend!
