You are what

Regarding the editorial piece: I drew considerable inspiration from jewelry advertisements that artfully depicted jewelry as consumable delicacies. My intention was to curate a composition featuring opulent gold jewelry, wherein a discernibly chosen model would metaphorically “consume” these pieces. This concept capitalizes on the popular adage “you are what you eat,” thereby imbuing the editorial with a clever linguistic interplay. In its execution, my creative vision envisioned Lily, the model, commencing the narrative seated at a table, yet progressively exhibiting visible vexation towards the imposed consumption. The narrative arc culminates in her decisive action of dismantling the table setting, symbolically discarding societal dictates, as underscored by the act of discarding the jewelry onto the floor. This juxtaposition serves to embody her defiance against societal norms surrounding consumption. It is with great satisfaction that I attest to Lily’s exceptional embodiment of the envisioned narrative, thereby elevating the editorial to fruition.

The inspiration for the creation of the Forest Journey editorial struck me as I wandered through the enchanting forest with its serene natural reservoirs. The ambiance within this woodland is truly spellbinding. Upon discovering the location, which would later serve as the backdrop for the captivating pink-orange stylized photograph, an immediate sense of purpose swept over me. It became apparent that this was the ideal setting for a fairy-tale photoshoot featuring a model adorned as a water nymph or an ethereal elf fairy.

Remarkably, the entire expanse of the forest falls under the protective umbrella of the Natura 2000 program, preserving its untouched and unspoiled beauty from human interference. The realization of my vision brings me immense satisfaction, a feat made possible by the dedicated individuals who contributed and, notably, my husband who provided invaluable assistance behind the scenes.
