Course Tour Hole 1 Par 4 | Handicap 13/14 • 349 • 334 • 303

The first hole is short par 4 to start with. You can either hit a driver off the tee or an iron to maximise the chances of placement. Make sure you aim your drive down the left side of the fairway leaving yourself a short distance to the green. The hole has two well placed bunkers greenside making sure you are accurate with your approach shot. The green itself slopes from left to right.

The second hole is one of our four par 3s

on the course. Despite not being overly long in distance a combination of a wellplaced bunker and a bowled shape green ensures that maximum concentration should be taken.

Hole 3 Par 4 | Handicap 7/6 • 391 • 376 • 371

The third hole is a tricky par four with two bunkers guarding the fairway left and right. The tee shot is elevated giving you a really good view of the hole itself. The second shot is tricky as it goes uphill making it hard to see the exact placement of the flag. The green is quite undulating so ensure you hit the correct part of the green.

Hole 4 Par 4 | Handicap 3/4 • 419 • 406 • 374

The fourth hole is a great par 4. The hole dog legs from left to right and requires a pin point accuracy drive. From the tee shot the ideal play is to angle your tee shot slightly to the left of the fairway giving you a better angle in the green. The second shot is downhill and requires a tight second shot into a narrow green. The further down the green the narrower it gets.

Hole 5 Par 4 | Handicap 17/12 • 345 • 340 • 318

The fifth hole is a short par 4. The line from

the tee is at the left bunker in the left side of the fairway. However, the longer hitters may have to be a little careful here as their ball could find this hazard. A good tee shot shouldn’t leave you with the longest second shot into a green sloping from left to right. The green also has two well placed bunkers which would make the second shop a little more difficult.

Hole 6 Par 4/5 | Handicap ½ • 425 • 402 • 402

The sixth hole is our stroke index one. This hole requires a good tee shot to maximise the chances of reaching the green in two. The tee shot should be played down the

left side of this fairway allowing the ball to roll in towards the centre. Once again though there is well placed bunker up the left side of the fairway and one over towards the right side to. Once you have positioned your ball in play you now have to tackle a tricky second into a green guarded by two bunkers. The green is relatively flat but there is also danger long of the green.

Hole 7 Par 4 | Handicap 5/10 • 351 • 342 • 325

The seventh hole is arguably the most challenging tee shot on the course. The drive requires a pin point accurate tee

sheet down a tree lined fairway that only begins to open up right at the top of the hill. Once you are in play the second shot is a little easier into a fairly flat gree. The hole is well protected with two bunkers up the right side of the green and a single bunker to the left of the green.

The eighth hole is a fairly open par 4 but does a have ditch running down the left side of the fairway. Ideally you would like to keep your ball down the right side to give yourself a nice angle into the green. The second shot is uphill so judging the

distance to the flag can sometimes be difficult. Once again, the green is guarded by bunkers either side of the green. Also, worth noting is this green is fairly long so make sure you are fully aware of where the flag is placed.

Hole 9 Par 3 | Handicap 9/16 • 196 • 166 • 138

The 9th is the second of our four par 3’s and arguably the toughest. The approach requires accuracy in to a narrow target that is guarded by bunkers either side of the green. The green slopes from the left down to the right which makes the tee shot even tougher.

The tenth hole is the first of the three par 5’s. The tee shot is highly demanding as the hole dog legs from right to left. The longer hitters may feel to maximise the chances of reaching the green in two they have to go over the tree with their tee shot. If not, then the best play is to angle your ball right of the tree and then play up the fairway. Once again, the green is well guarded with bunkers either side of the green. The green is fairly long in the length so once again knowledge of where the pin is placed is vital.

Hole 11 Par 3 | Handicap 14/17 • 162 • 144 • 131

The third of our four par 3’s is arguably the simplest. The iron shot requires though the correct length with bunkers short, left and behind the green ready to capture any miss struck shots. Elevation from the tee is key to ensure your ball carries the bunker in front of the green.

Hole 12 Par 4 I Handicap 18/13 • 296 • 286 • 261

Our twelfth hole is a short par 4 and is very much a risk reward shot. The longer hitters may feel they can drive the green

but it is so well guarded with a ditch running down the left side of the hole and bunkers scattered all across the front of the green. The fairway runs from left to right feeding the balls towards the ditch. The second shot requires a good elevated shot as the bunkers are placed perfectly in front of the green. The green itself is very narrow but fairly flat.

Hole 13 Par 5 | Handicap 12/3 • 474 • 415 • 415

The 13th is the second of our three par 5’s which dog legs from left to right. The drive requires you to position your ball down the left side of the fairway giving yourself

a good angle for your second shot. There is also danger through the fairway so do be careful where you place your tee shot. As you make your way towards the green there are two bunkers that placed right and left of the green. Also, behind the green is out of bounds so do ensure you are careful when selecting your approach shot.

Hole 14 Par 4 | Handicap 4/9 • 429 • 412 • 340

The 14th hole is a long par 4. The tee shot is a straight hole with a ditch down the right side of the rough. The second shot goes downhill into a green that is surrounded by bunkers left and right. The

green itself is undulating and it really is essential here to hit the correct part.

The 15th tee shot is one of the more challenging tee shots on the course. challenging tee shots on the course. From the white tees this requires the golfer to hit the ball with a slight fade to get the ball over to the right of the fairway allowing the player to have the best possible angle in to the green. The hole actually shapes right to left so it’s essential to give yourself a clear second you must keep the ball over to the right of the fairway.

Our sixteenth is the last of our 4 par 3’s. We have recently added a water feature here to improve the holes look and this really comes into play for any miss struck shot. The protection to this green isn’t just the water hazard it also has bunkers all up the right. The green itself is a two-tear green making controlling the distance of putting very tricky depending on flag placement.

Hole 17 Par 5 | Handicap 16/11 • 496 • 460 • 417 546

The 17th is the final par 5 on the course. The drive is fairly demanding with trouble up the left and out of bounds up the right. As you reach the top of the hill the longer hitters may decide to go for the green in two. For those laying up it is essential to keep your ball down the left side of the hole giving yourself a clear shot into the green. There is a big tall tree that will block you off if your ball feeds towards the right side of the hole. Once again there are bunkers scattered around the green as protection.

The green itself is fairly undulating so it is important to hit the correct side of maximising the chances of success.

The 18th the final hole on the course requires you to hit a straight drive before a well-placed pond. There is trouble down the left side of the hole so a tee shot down the right of the fairway is the perfect position.

From the East Either follow the A12 westbound, taking the first turning on the right after the junction with the M25, or take the M25 and follow the instructions above

From the West Take the A12 eastbound out of central London towards Brentwood and Romford. Go through Romford and follow signs towards the M25. The turning for the golf club is on the left, a short distance before you reach the motorway. By Public Transport The nearest railway station is Harold Wood, which is around a five-minute taxi ride away. Several direct trains an hour run from London Liverpool Street, with journey times around 33 minutes.
