Our pubs and bars are open until late on most days and are an ideal place to sit with a drink and socialise with friends. The Windmill Museum takes visitors through a tour of windmills from the classical designs of Persia and Greece through to the modern wind farms.
There are many open green spaces in Wimbledon but of all those Wimbledon Common is the most popular--famous for being home of Elisabeth Beresford’s lovable, fictional eco-warriors the WOMBLES. The Common covers an impressive 1140 acres of woodland including our golf club, and is an incredible area to explore.
