Drawings from the scene DESIGN CONCEPT The concept behind the design of the scene is that of a cube inside a cube. Following the description of a meditation garden or temple in the middle of a pond, where water occupies all the space except for the square stone islands, we take as a reference the architecture of Carlo Scarpa, an Italian architect who combined the use of stone, light and water to design emotionally charged spaces. The shape of the cube is used to emphasize the artificiality of the space, with two large prismatic chimneys cutting its corners and allowing the entrance of dim artificial sunlight, a reference to the radical proposal of Tindaya, a large space excavated inside a mountain designed by the sculptor Eduardo Chillida.
