Transition Between the Mountain and Lake
[About the Design] This Design is located in the Baiyun Lake Park, in order to maintain the open space and nature in the public environment, the design is based on the fluctuant terrain which is extended to form the basic of the public nature.Building on the stills could maintain the open space in the site. At the same time, various touring routes and leisure function are provided for visitors. The inner space is the contention of the shape and texture of the ups and downs to form the space facing the water and touch it gradually. [About the Design] This Design is located in Daxing campus of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. The site is flat and square, while the surroundings are solemn, the projection is designed according to the characteristics of the site and the discipline itself. The exterior environment is rigorous, and the interior space is lively and dynamic. The internal space is designed in the reflection of the cross and communication between disciplines and aim to promote the environment of the public communication among students. At the same time, the design is also taking the specifications and requirements of green building into consideration. The perforated aluminum plates are designed to keep the sun off and constitute the architectural facade. This design reflects the consideration of teachers and students and the hope for the future development of architecture.
