The Unur district, in the Ger area of the city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, is the selected site. The two main issues identified in the Ger area are the extreme cold in winter and the flash flooding in the spring and summer. The Unur district is one of the worst areas for flooding. Other issues include inadequate infrastructure, lack of open space and community, and air pollution. The project aims to improve the living standard of the Ger area.
