I grew up southwest of Los Angeles in Palos Verdes Estates and moved to Texas in 1975 (long before it was cool) to go to SMU. We moved to Austin in 1988 to raise our two children.
Why Real Estate?
I’ve always been a problem solver and a connector of people. Finding the perfect match between a buyer and a seller and helping them take that next step in their journey is fun. If I can make the home selling or buying process less stressful and help my clients move on then I’ve done my job well. And as a bonus, I have made some lifelong friendships.
Tell us what you love must about Austin? Even though Austin is a large city, it still has that small-town vibe.
What skill do you think helps you the most in Real Estate?
My ability to listen and to read people. I can usually understand what the underlying desire is for them, even if it’s hard to vocalize.
When you and family go out, where do you go and why?
We love to try new restaurants, and go to sporting events.
What is your favorite quote?
It’s part of a longer quote from Einstein “Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.”
If you could jump on a plane and go anywhere, where would you go and why?
Anywhere with a beach. I grew up on the ocean and it’s my happy place.
