GAME - SOCK - MATCH Professional tennis player Jack Sock and his wife Laura met Mike Boston, a Real Estate professional with his own strong tennis background, just over two years ago when they visited the Palisades Country Club Tennis Complex. With a previous singles ranking of number 8 in the world and the world’s top doubles player, Jack was seeking a place to train and begin his rehab after sustaining a serious injury which kept him unable to play on the ATP tour for more than a year. Originally from Kansas City, Jack landed in Charlotte to be with his girlfriend at the time, the former Miss North Carolina, Laura Little. It didn’t take long for Jack to propose and their magical, storybook wedding was held on Kiawah Island in December 2020. At the same time a true American comeback story of a player seeking to regain his ranking as one of the world’s best tennis players had also begun. During this journey, Jack and Laura started their search to find their perfect home and in doing so formed a friendship with Mike Boston. Their home search eventually led them to Davidson where they found a home that was a great fit and in close proximity to Jack’s tennis coach Alex Bogomolov. While spending time together searching for a new home, Mike encouraged Laura to get her real estate license and she has since successfully done just that. Now Mike and ‘Team Sock’ look forward to many days ahead both around the tennis court and working together on future real estate ventures.
