How did I end up in Charleston... It began as a vacation – a theme you hear over and over from “transplant” Charlestonians – in October 2009, when my family spent a week at Wild Dunes Resort on the Isle of Palms. Truthfully, this coastal city had me at its gorgeous beaches, but once we experienced the historic district of the peninsula and got a peek at the idyllic Lowcountry life on Daniel Island, we were irreversibly charmed. Three months later my wife and I packed up our three children and our lives in Breckenridge Colorado and came home to Daniel Island, SC.
