Who has been your biggest influence on your career to this point?

I was born at the Nix Hospital and was raised by wonderful parents in San Antonio. After living in Uvalde for 14 years, I moved to Boerne in 1992 so that my daughter could attend Boerne secondary schools which prepared her well for higher education. She is a wonderful young woman who serves people in need and has made her mark as a Social Worker for the State of Texas.

Intently listening to what people have to say and remembering their priorities is what I believe has given me success and longevity in this industry. I have chosen only the best with whom I surround myself, both within our brokerage and in my group. The exciting return of my partner, Kristin Troilo from the D.C. market, brings a new level of expertise in luxury homes, design elements and construction with innovative ideas from her 6 years on the east coast. Gary Peterson, a broker of over 15 years, and I have worked successfully in tandem for over 3 years. He has a vast working knowledge of land development and sales, as well as home sales in the hill country. In striving to always provide the best in all aspects of concierge service, we are fortunate to have added a licensed Administrative Assistant, Rebekah Melton who is detail oriented and exacting. Her great attitude and willingness to help us and our clients while taking our technology to the next level has given us an edge that is second to none. We all respect and love each other which makes us all better people and professionals.

My husband, Joey Gleitman, is my rock and a constant source of encouragement to me in keeping my business growing. His late Mother, Helen, was a trail blazing business woman in the 60's and helped me learn how to achieve success and respect as a female in business.

Why Real Estate? I love helping people. Helping sellers market and sell their homes and finding buyers their dream home, in all price ranges, is so gratifying. I am fortunate to have repeat and referral clients which is the cornerstone of any successful business.

Tell what you love most about San Antonio. San Antonio is my home. The loveliness of the people, the wide range of the arts and our diverse culture is what I love most about San Antonio. Watching San Antonio come into her own over the past couple of decades has been very exciting, but I believe the best is yet to come.

What lesson as a kid still resonates till this day? My Dad's immortal words of "remember who you are and what you represent" rings forever in my heart and makes it so easy to always do the right thing.

Where are you from and how long have you lived in Boerne?

When you and family go out, where do you go and why?

My Dad moved us to Boerne when I was two years old for the schools. I grew up on a ranch with horses at a time when Boerne had one stoplight and a small grocery store.

We are a very active and sporty family so we are outdoors often. We love Breckenridge, Colorado in both the winter and the summer. We all play tennis regularly and the boys really love to fish, so whenever we aren’t involved with their sports or on the tennis courts, we’re at the lake fishing!

Why Real Estate? My Dad started his own brokerage when we moved to Boerne, and I grew up showing ranch properties with him. Real estate has always been our dinner conversation. After graduating UT in Austin, I started selling in Westlake, and the market was booming. I fell in love with being able to help people sell what is oftentimes one of their largest assets. Real estate is now my passion!

Tell us one thing that not many people know about you. I was on the UT water-ski team!

What is your favorite quote? What skill do you think helps you the most in Real Estate? I’m always learning. I’m a big reader and constantly looking to expand my knowledge base to stay ahead of the curve for our clients. My husband is a real estate developer and my father is a farm and ranch broker. Their expertise has enabled me to help many clients with much more than just their basic residential real estate goals. We're now helping clients build wealth through investing in residential, commercial and development opportunities. It's an exciting time to be in real estate!
