How did the business get started and when? Bob’s understanding of building and construction began in the early 60s when, as a teenager he worked for his father, a local home builder. This tutelage became invaluable when he decided to leave a job in financial analysis at Varian Associate to begin his own business in custom home building. Bob’s company has expanded immeasurably over the years and has always included family members in every aspect of the business. The “Owen touch” begins and ends with teamwork, it is a collaboration of the creative minds of the team working tirelessly to develop a home which ultimately exceeds the expectations of the client. What is the family aspect of your company? The unity of the family has become essential to the success of the company. How have you seen the trends in home design change?
