Did you know that March is Music in Our Schools Month? Musicians and teachers are celebrating the 30th year for MIOSM. Here are some great music making apps, software, and websites: *noteflight.com – great music notation software for that composition student (web based) *http://www.musictechteacher.com/-an entire library of web based music games and quizzes *quavermusic.com – music software that would fit the needs of ANY level of music education. There is also an app for your iOS device!

Music Tutor (free) – Free app excellent for that band student wanting to work on sight reading and bass/treble clef note drills. Rhythm Cat- This app is for beginning note readers and steady beat learners! Staff Wars- A great parody of Star Wars that will test your music reading knowledge. Guitar Bots- Excellent for beginning and intermediate guitar students
