Dear Colleague,

TEKCITNOITAVRESERMROF

Explore themes of friendship and sustainability with us this Christmas as we bring Morna Young’s new adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic wintry tale to The Lyceum stage.

Once upon a time, in a world lang forgotten, strange creatures roamed the land...

Dear colleague

When the beautiful and fearsome Snow Queen steals young Kei away to her frozen kingdom, she leaves behind the brave and brilliant Gerda, an Edinburgh lass who will stop at nothing to rescue her best friend.

Ticket Reservation Form

Join us at The Lyceum this Christmas to experience the stories of Aladdin, Sinbad, Ali Baba, genies, talking birds, magic carpets and a host of heroes and villains as they are all brought to magical life in our tales of The Arabian Nights

But the Snow Queen has lodged shards of her magical ice into Kei’s heart, turning him cold and mean. Can Gerda, with the help of friends she meets along the way, track her pal through the magical, wintery world of the Snow Queen and melt his frozen heart before it’s too late?

The market square of old Baghdad is a place of wonders. Treasures from all over the world find their way to the ancient city. The people come from everywhere too: pickpockets and writers, carpet makers, co ee vendors and fortune tellers all vie for business in a cosmopolitan whirl.

Join us for a beautiful, festive and frosty show as we follow young Gerda on her quest to save Kei, and the world, from an eternal winter. Snow, ice palaces, and a dazzling pink unicorn await!

Please find enclosed a reservation form with full information on performance dates and times, and how to book.

In the middle of it all we find a young girl with a big imagination, a girl called Scheherezade. She spends her days weaving stories from the world and characters around her… much to the annoyance of her father, an antique dealer who would like her to help out once in a while!

Book by May to take advantage of our early bird offer.

But when the wicked Sultan announces a terrible plan that threatens the very essence of this rich world, it might just be Scheherezade’s imagination that saves the day, if only she can catch the Sultan in her web of stories.
