Lynch opens four new depots to provide a nationwide coverage To realise its vision of being recognised as the best Operated Plant and Haulage provider nationwide, Lynch has now opened four new depots. These, combined with the current three depots, will now offer customers a nationwide service through seven locations across England, namely Bridgwater, Dartford, Hemel, Rushden, Stanmore, Warrington and Brentwood. Lynch’s head office will now be moved to a more purpose built location at Hemel with the current Stanmore headquarters remaining as its North London depot.

Lynch now a national plant hire supplier Sales Director Rob Lynch enthused about the company’s expansion plans commenting “The new depots strategically located around the country mean we are now a national plant supplier – our customers have been telling us their supply chains are

too big and they want to reduce them. Lynch has responded and we are now in a position where we can deliver real value that a sole supply trading relationship can bring, underpinned by meeting hire demands, which is always our first priority”. With key infrastructure projects being identified and planned in the North as well as the Capital, Lynch added that “as a company we believe in the ‘Northern Powerhouse’ and the new Warrington depot is ideally located on the edge of Manchester and

Liverpool to offer a ‘total’ Lynch service to customers in the North of the country. With regards London, we have been covering the capital from one side. A population of 8 million people and the worst traffic in the UK. With the Dartford depot we are going to meet hire demands by now having dedicated resources for South London and the South East”.

Haulage goes nationwide Lynch Haulage will also now be offering a nationwide service through seven locations across England. Director Merrill Lynch, who is overseeing a total overhaul of the service, said: “It is time to provide a better service for muck away and aggregates. Customers deserve much more than what the industry is currently offering and here at Lynch we are looking to establish a service for our customers that combines total reliability with communication levels that are second to none.”

Lynch sponsors Operator Trials In order to highlight the profile of operators and to encourage new blood into the industry, Lynch is sponsoring ‘Operator Trials’, a nationwide competition specifically for operators. ‘Operator Trials’ will be travelling the length of the country running a nationwide competition to recognise the best operators, testing them in various time trialed events. These events will be held in the South West at the Oaktree Arena, the South East at Dartford, the North West at Warrington and the Midlands at Rushden. Starting off in the South West at the Oaktree Arena on the 28th March. ‘Operator Trials’ will be displaying a state of the art Tenstar Excavator simulator, so, if you do not posses a competency card to participate in the main trials, there is no better way to begin digging dirt. On the day there will be prizes on offer, even for just coming along and entering. However the regional champions will take home iPad Mini 3s and the overall nationwide UK champion will win a fantastic holiday for two. During 2015 Lynch is raising money for its chosen charity, namely Breast Cancer Care and at the ‘Operator Trials’ there will be a chance to support this notable Charity by purchasing raffle tickets to win a brand new ‘one of a kind’ Pink Bobcat E14 Compact Excavator. Also as part of an ongoing campaign Lynch will be using the event to highlight the skills shortage in the industry as well as the lack of women currently working in construction. Operations Direction Mark Kennedy said: “By building the profile of operators in our Industry and the skill set it will only enhance the likelihood of young men and women wanting to enter this industry as their choice of career” Check out the website, www.operatortrials.com and at www.facebook.com/OperatorTrials

Lynch increases Wacker Neuson dumper fleet to over 400 units Following the purchase of 170 Wacker Neuson wheeled dumpers last year, Lynch has now placed an order for a further 190 units as part of its mission to offer the most modern and reliable equipment available and also to satisfy a growing demand for the German-built machines. The order includes 120 recently launched 6 tonne and 9 tonne capacity Wacker Neuson DX60 & DX90 swivel tip models. These feature hydrostatic drive and fuel-efficient Perkins turbocharged diesel engines which meet the latest stage 111B emission regulations.

J. Murphy chooses Lynch for Harbury site

Lynch — caught on camera!!!

J. Murphy has selected Lynch Plant for the Harbury landslip site. A landslide in Warwickshire caused a blockage on the Chiltern railway lines between Oxfordshire and the Midlands. Lynch currently have a number of 30T dump trucks, 35T excavators and a D6 Dozer to clear over 350,000 tons of rock away from the site. With the help of our equipment and the continuous good work by our operators, the rail line will be made safe and useable again in no time.

Grab & Tipper at

Stanmore

A Lynch grab & tipper lorry and a Doosan DX 235 LCR helping remove 200 plus loads of muck away from Stanmore place the development site behind our Stanmore headquarters.

Torbay A38 highway upgrade Lynch have been in partnership with Galiford Try/SIAC in a joint venture supplying machinery on a huge project in South Devon. Lynch Excavators have been working on the Torbay road upgrade as part of the project, with one side a busy highway and the other the railway line. The work is in good progress to widen 1km of the A38 between Newton Abbot and Torquay. This will then link with the 5km bypass of the village of Kingskerwell. In all there are nine major structures in the £110M project which is scheduled to be completed on time in December. Devon Country Council project manager Paul Couttie MCIHT says “The focus over the next couple of months is to finish all the key structures. The A38 is very congested road and we have maintained a single lane in each direction at all times.”

Lynch primary school excavator safety awareness courses To continue Lynch’s valued partnership within the local community, Keval Dattani, head of internal sales, and Valon, an elite operator, visited the local Wood End Infant school in Northolt. The idea was to show the children how an excavator works as well as to raise awareness about the importance of being safe around it. In total eight classes were given an early and valuable insight into the world of construction. They all received goodie bags and Lynch friendship bracelets. It appears due to the many letters of appreciation received since their visit that the children really enjoyed the lesson!
