小丑是包裝不被主流價值所接受的事物之狀態，當人們遇見違背常理的荒謬，便會 躲進小丑的面具裡。 「 丑」象徵某種程度的扭曲，使人產生顛覆既定印象的準備，進 而接受了之後獲取的訊息；因此，小丑成為揭開事件的使者，向大眾宣告社會不為 人知的一面。
隆昌街，夾擊於西門町與舊萬華之間的老住宅區，在老台北的風華褪去後，成
為聚集許多被冷落事物的城市村落(the forsaken city)，這些事物潛藏生命力與價 值卻不被看見，透過小丑濾鏡翻轉這個區域，為失落的場域重新注入活力。
於基地上選擇了五個既有載體，透過小丑的演出形成回收站，回收老城中那些
被遺棄、淡忘或消逝中的片段 : 像是二手書及故事、過剩的農產與即期食物、遭潮流
淘汰的衣物布料、散落於城市各處的原中華商場店家、在快速流動的城市裡人們忘 記的生活頓點。在小丑的表演下，這些隱藏的社會狀態被端上檯面並以戲劇性的方 式展演出來，不被需要的回收物因此被賦予了嶄新的意義。
The clown is a state of packaging things that are not accepted by mainstream values. When people face the strange things that goes against common sense, they will hide under the clown mask.“丑”signals distortion and subversion, thereby preparing people for“uncommon”and accepting things. Thus, the clown becomes the messenger to reveal the incident and announce the unknown side of society to the public. Longchang Street, the old residential area between Ximending and the old Wanhua, after the old Taipei's splendor faded, became a forsaken village that is home to many neglected things. Through the clown filter, this lost field is flipped and reinvigorated. Five existing carriers were selected on the site to form a recycling station through the performance of the clowns to recycle the abandoned, forgotten or vanishing fragments in the old city: such as second-hand books and stories, excess produce and expiring food, discarded clothing and fabrics, stores from China Mall, and the a moment of life that people forget in a fast-moving city. Under the action of the clown, these unwanted recyclables are given a new meaning.

當城市中的車流、路人及大型戶外廣告遭移除， 雜亂的都市轉為乾淨的建築立面；然而這樣的 景色同時為觀者帶來舒適感與不適感。因為人 們熟知的元素遭到剝離而產生與事物的距離感 ，如同似人非人的小丑帶給人們的感受。
當人們熟悉的部件被抹去，如同失去生活的指 向性，在這個世界人們看似無憂無慮卻迷失了 方向
小丑的特性是僅會表現出情緒的一個面向，無 論是喜劇或悲劇，皆能以單面的情緒去演繹整 個局面，非單調而生動。如同黑白照片較彩色照 片更純粹且富想像空間， 凸顯出作品的張力。 而最經典的莫過於人們在快樂的小丑無間段的 笑聲中感受到他暴露出的悲傷。
耍把戲是小丑的絕活，他們各自運用不同的手 法讓人以不同的角度看待事情。然而，小丑們從 不直言，而是透過花招讓人們的感官感受到差 異進而心領神會。
「如醉酒之人把事物看成兩個一樣，同一現實對 我而言卻是兩種現象。一是理想之光；一是絕望 的深淵。同時正當我想再看清楚點時，兩者又合 二為一回到原來無聊的現實。 」
在電影中，故事主軸圍繞著「相同性」，導演刻意 用「期限」，凸顯社會價值觀如何放大了「相同性 」在愛情中的重要性。故事的鋪陳處處彰顯群眾 價值觀對社會造成的影響，現實社會的既視感 悄然浮出。

小丑散發出的荒謬感來自於相對的結果。在群 體中展現出強烈的個人意識，進而突顯與他人 的差異性， 強烈的特質也透過比較被定義。

+ Positioning of the Site + 基地位於隆昌街，夾擊於西門町、老艋舺與昔日的中華商場之間。在日治時期
被命名為新起町，自清朝時便是人們前往經商的捷徑，隨後成為雜貨店林立的街巷 。
隨著城市的發展，西門町與舊城區各自找到了在城市中的定位，隆昌街一帶卻
僅剩下一批批等待被都更的老房舍伴隨零星的商家，形同大城市裡被遺忘的角落。
然而在這樣黯淡的社區中，卻潛藏著許多有趣或怪異的事正散發著生命力。透
過依循這些怪異足跡進一步的摸索，我們將發掘那些躲在面具後的故事──城市 中被遺棄、淡忘或消逝中的片段 :
像是舊冊店的二手書及故事、市場過剩的農產與周邊商家的即期食物、西門町快速 時尚遭潮流淘汰的衣物布料、散落於城市各處的原中華商場店家與在快速流動的 城市裡人們忘記的生活頓點。

在這個被遺忘的城市村落中選定了五個既有的載體，在小丑的巡迴表演下，運
用改建、增建、重建等不同的方式將空間轉換為「回收站｣， 分別是「分離單車站｣、 「 分裂二手書店｣、 「 共享山谷食坊｣、 「 懸浮裁縫店｣、 「 中華塔の商城｣。
基地上，他們成為揭開事件面具的使者，以戲劇性的方式將這些隱藏且被忽略
的社會狀態端上檯面並展演出來，不被需要的回收物因此被賦予了嶄新的意義。
+ Coated Bicycle Station recycling the moment of life that people forget in a fast-moving city 分離單車站/ 隔絕了城市的喧囂，這裡是小丑巡迴的起點抑是終點，藉由小丑
的「比較級｣相對特性，匯集不同速度差的使用者，使人們憶起被快速城市所吞噬的 生活頓點，留予人們一個喘息的空間。
騎著單車竄入的上班族、停車小歇的貨卡司機、出門散步的居民、甚至是對街
出來曬曬太陽的住院病患；在此，藉由寧靜而慢活的老社區包夾出給予人們喘息的 空間，使用者在意會彼此速度差異的同時，也對空間有了不同的詮釋。

裂痕二手書店/ 回收前一個使用者的字跡與行經的人的故事，透過與故事的
平行交錯，間接傳遞被現代化都市屏棄的溫情，這些慢慢被淘汰且遺忘的老成記憶 在裂開的傷疤間慢慢重新被縫補起來。
老台北城如同基地上的獨居老人們，蘊含大量的故事卻無處可傾訴，在這個下
班的捷徑路途，透過文字、聲音抑或真人真事在世代的隔閡上建立起橋梁，間接傾 訴彼此的故事。

山谷共享食坊/ 蒐集了環南市場與周遭店家過剩的農產品
與即期食物，為陰暗的步登公寓劃出了一道山谷，隨著引入的光源，共享廚房、小食 攤與下挖的休憩空間帶來了人潮，沉寂的住宅區逐漸有了生機。

+ Floating Tailor Shop recycling discarded clothing and fabrics 懸浮裁縫店/ 藉由永續時尚中心的設置，回收廢棄布料的同時轉型被時
代淘汰的傳統裁縫店，同時運用小丑的「表像面具｣表達對於快速時尚的反思。 中心的增加連動了整個回收站的機制，透過舊衣的匯集，閣樓的工作室
結合布料存放空間延伸至地面層的伸展台，並擴及到鄰近的公園結合使用，成
為新型態的永續基地。

垂直動線增設使商成一同向上生 長，熱絡起整個街廓
+ Tower China Mall recycling lifestyle from China Mall 中華塔の商城/ 禁錮回憶的塔召回散落於城市各處的原中華商場店家，
透過塔與橋的串接，活絡的商城氛圍逐漸垂直向上生長。
在這裡，二樓的鄰居與對棟攤商老闆互動熱絡，形成了如同中華商城般混
雜而熱鬧的生活型態，帶回屬於老台北人的獨特記憶。
