“In my view the Lyric’s work with local schools is outstanding. In my experience, the Lyric is not only a first class organisation, but one that is dedicated to empowering young people to discover their own potential and then share that potential with others. The Lyric is a caring and nurturing organisation that takes its commitments and responsibilities to young people extremely seriously.” Sir William Atkinson, Executive Headteacher, The Phoenix Canberra Schools Federation
The Lyric is able to offer bespoke programmes of work tailored to the needs of young people outside of mainstream education, including Pupil Referral Units and other providers of specialist provision.
“Thank you for our collaborative work on ‘The Grandfathers’ which culminated in a really exciting, stimulating and rewarding experience for our young learners. They grew in confidence and their self esteem soared during rehearsals. They have returned to school in a very positive frame of mind, ready to take on the challenges of their forthcoming examinations and their future pathways.” Rita Rogerson, Director of Access and Inclusion, The Bridge Academy: Pupil Referral Unit
