Annual Review 2011/12

Page 1

2011/12 was one of the most successful years in the Lyric’s history – exceeding all box office targets and welcoming a record number of people through the doors. The year also marked the beginning of an exciting new phase in the Lyric’s life. Building work has now begun on a major £16.5million Capital Project to give the theatre its first major facelift in 30 years and build a two storey extension of new facilities. The project will transform the landscape of Hammersmith and the lives of thousands of young people. A great 2011/12 and even more exciting times ahead.
