Travel Insurance with Cancellation »Classic« Our tried-and-true classic - complete travel insurance!

Deadline for purchasing insurance products with cancellation protection

Immediate cancellation protection is given if the insurance is purchased at the same time as the trip or max. 3 workingdays after booking the trip, regardless of the period of time left until departure. If the insurance is purchased later only events which take place 10 days or more after purchase of insurance are covered (exceptions: accident, death, natural disaster).

Family rate

A maximum of two adults and up to five accompanying under-age persons, regardlessof their degree of relationship, are classified as a family.

Scope of application

Worldwide: all countries of the world (excluding North Korea) Europe: In the geographical sense, incl. Mediterranean states, Jordan, Canary Islands and Madeira.

General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

The most recent version of the AWP P&C S.A., Branch office for Austria, insurance terms and conditions at the time of conclusion of the contract are applicable. These terms and conditions also contain a detailed specification of the insurance benefits. You can download them at www.allianz-assistance.at. Agents do not have the right to make special agreements which contradict or supplement the terms and conditions. The rates stated here will become invalid upon publication of new folders. The customer has to adhere to the obligations mentioned in the Terms and Conditions.

Reasons for cancellation according to the General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

Extract of the reasons for cancellation, are defined in our GTC: • Sudden, serious illness, severe health implications as a result of an accident, or death of the insured person or their spouse, children, partner, parents (in-laws), siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, brother or sister-in-law or another person named as an additional person at risk in the insurance policy • Occurence of pregnancy of the insured person • Intolerance of the insured person to vaccines (in the case of mandatory vaccines) • Unexpected termination of the insured person‘s employment by the employer • Unexpected draft of the insured person into military service for the time of the booked trip • Submission of a petition for divorce by the spouse • Failing of the final secondary school exams by the insured person before a trip which was scheduled immediately after these exams • Considerable damage to or break-in into the insured person‘s property at

their place of residence which makes their presence absolutely necessary In the case of a maximum of seven persons having booked a trip/rent together and being insured together, an insurance claim is also given if one of the above mentioned reasons arises for one of the seven persons.

Important

In order to avail of in-patient and out-patient treatment, an extra return trip and emergency transport, the Allianz Assistance emergency call centre must be informed immediately upon occurrence of the event or medical problem. Please have your proof of insurance, as well as the exact address and phone number of your current location ready.

Please notify the Allianz Global Assistance claims department of your insurance claim in writing within 48 hours. Please send your original documents (notification of claim, booking confirmation, doctor‘s invoice, notification of damage/loss from the carrier, etc.) to our claims department.
