THE FOX AND THE WOODPECKER Once upon a time, there was a woodpecker living on an oak tree. One day a fox who was used to passing by, hit the tree with its tail and tell the woodpecker: -Hey dear woodpecker, come down from that tree. I have to knock it down. -Do not be like that, foxy - said the woodpecker. I haven´t even been able to raise my chicks. -Well, give me one and I will teach it how to weld

-Really foxy? What do you do? -said the woodpecker Well, I sometimes wash, clean, paint and do other things. I always try to find anything to doreplied the fox. The woodpecker throws one of his chicks at him and the fox run into the forest and eat it.
Few days later, the fox passes by again and hit the oak with its tail and tell the woodpecker again: -Come down from that tree woodpecker I must knock it down -Don´t be like that dear fox. I must raise my chicks -replied the
woodpecker
-Give it to me woodpecker-said the fox. Every day, I will teach him how to be a good shoemaker. -Really foxy? Do you have time for that? -asked the woodpecker -Sure-said the fox The woodpecker throws one of her chicks again and fox ran into the trees to eat it.
Some days later, the fox passed by again and hit the oak with its tail. -Come down from that tree, woodpecker. I have to knock that tree down -
exclaimed the fox again
-Please, dear fox, I have to raise my chicks – said the woodpecker -Well, give me one and I will teach him how to sew. -said the fox The woodpecker gives him her last chicks and the fox ran into the forest and eat it too. The lonely and desolate woodpecker moved from that oak tree and never came back.
