Design
Inspiration We were inspired by a product which used to be very popular in Taiwan. The device allows users keep a digital pet that can accompany with users everywhere. Digital pet grows with the increasing of numbers of the paces regard related to users’ daily walk. And we started to think, why it can’t be applied simultaneously.

Target Agent
How Fish tank was applied because it is a stable and decorative object set in house, and combined it with existed technology (for example, smartphone, Wi-Fi, digital camera, temperature sensor).

Idea Sketch 005
The first idea came up with a little boat sailing on the fish tank. This proposal combines three parts. The first part is installed in the fish tank, aims to monitor water temperature. The second part is installed outside the fish tank, aims to pump fresh air into the fish tank. The third part is the little boat that takes charge of taking photos and feeding fishes (There is a fish food container and release system). However, the proposal is too complicated for users. So, it was later been redesigned. Through redesign, using method was simplified.

Details
By setting camera inside the cylinder plastic shell, the camera can go up and down and rotate, providing the 360-degree view. As for light bar, users can easily adjust the light by touching the bar located outside the fish tank’s wall.

Navigation Through the navigation button, users are allowed to control the height and angle of camera, which is built inside Jelly Bubble. This allows Jelly Bubble send the real-time image to user’s smartphone.
Bubble This button allows users control the bubble generator in Jelly Bubble. Users can interact with pet by this function.

Problem This is a situation in which people would like to listen to music without annoying others. However, wearing headphone may be uncomfortable for some users and isolated them from crowd.
Analysis
Uncomfortable Everyone can enjoy music toghther. Good sound, but cost a lot,and depends on what place to listen.
No Marketing Chance.
Too noisy for other people. Sound is differ from space to space.
Public
Private No noise to the other people in the same place. Generally the same sound in various space.
Design Target
Can’t talk or interact with other people while listening music. Uncomfortable to ears when using it for a long time.

Solution After doing research for discovering technologies to solve this problem, p a solution was finally identified.

 Firstly, a virus shape was applied to symbolize that the infectiousness of music is as powerful as virus. As for functional purpose, this X shape help cluster the wave and enhance the effect of super directional speaker and also expand the sound zone by using the least speaker.
Phase 1 In this phase, PU Foam and CNC was used to make models for simulating the final appearance of this product. By feeling this real object, some details and scale were corrected and the final prototype became better.
Phase 2 This is the final prototype, SLA 3D Printing technology was applied to make shells of the product. The real PCB, speaker kit and other electronic unit were also put into the model that made the prototype work as the real one.
Mock-up Making
 Through the first phase, we can touch and observe the real shape and size of our product. Without this step, mistakes can only be revealed from the final prototype. At the second phase, we focused on making final prototype. By correcting mistakes from the first phase, the second model works correctly.

 Super-Directional Speaker and normal speaker were applied for creating two different modes: SHARING MODE and ENJOY ALONE MODE for not annoying people who stays in the same place with the user. In this circumstance, users can also talk to others while listening to music, instead of being isolated by earphone.

Design Concept
 Although helping others is a good behaviour. However, in the deep mind of disabled, they must desire to be as the same as normal people. So, this product was designed to help blind people. By using existed technology, this product could help disabled keep their dignity and make their daily living more convenient.
Problem Dignity missing among blind people.
Target
Target It is quite difficult for blind people to identified directions. Therefore, helping them solve this problem is our primary goal. By applying this product, disabled can go to their destination by themselves without others’ help. So, in train station or any other public place, they would be treat as normal people, other people wouldn’t notice any difference.

How
How By using this product, disabled could be the same with ordinary people on a certain level. They can recognize direction by using the band, and travel to their destination independently. This band simulates the pulling force from guiding dog by vibrating from different sides.

At the beginning, many different proposals were mentioned, including Drones. Super Directional Speaker was set up in drones, for playing orientation guidance to the target to guide them to their destination. However, we realized that why not just redesign the product that the blind people use every day. Finally, guide brick was choose to be further developed.

Introduction Behaviours While users walk into available range, the band will vibrate from all direction to notice users that they have walked into available range. The route could be set up by users’ families or friends.
Trigger Xtrawave Guider’s Action Once the process is done, the vibrations from guider bricks could lead users to their destination.
When walking into available range of product, the band will start to guide users to their destination.

How it works Only two steps are required to set up this product. By these two kits, we can easily install them on the ground. They’ll automatically transmit information to each other and supply power to every units.

Fingerprints
It is very inconvenient to recognize who are authorized to attend the meeting and who can enter the door. Normally, people have to take out their ID Card and put it nearby the machine that being installed on the wall, and then, they finally get the permission to enter the door. I think there definitely have some more convenient ways to achieve the same result.
I decided to design the door knob which is optimized for conference room. While an important meeting is in progress, the product will detect user’s identification. A word “meeting� will also display on the little screen on the product.
With the ability of identifying fingerprints, this product could detect attenders of the meeting, and authorize them their enter licenses.

How it works  It requires users to register their fingerprint previously, and meeting holder needs to select attendees before the meeting. When meeting starts, attendees can use this door knob to get the authorize licenses by fingerprints.

When the light signal turns g reen, that means the river has cleaned. If the light signal turns red, which means the river was contaminated.
Design Concept
 Firefly is a design for water quality monitoring, like a river guardian, which can immediately detect harmful chemical pollutants that illegally released from factories. By moving backwards and forwards along the river, these illegal-released will no longer be discovered such difficultly.

We spent a lot of times capturing the moment of dropping ink into water, waiting for the perfect image.
In this project, I also took charge in planning the Expo. As a leader, I have to assign works to my classmates, estimate working hours and control the cost.
