This was my final project in my first year of university. I focused on the sub-culture Mods. We also had to include a textile technique, I took the popularity of crochet from the Mod womenswear and used it to create trompe l'oiel (which also became popular in the sixties). I did this by creating 2D garments out of second hand crochet and spray painting through them onto my fabric to create a print onto my garment.
