All Pearson sleep sofas are custom built with premium mechanisms of heavy duty angular and tubular steel. These premium mechanisms feature an advanced linkage design for a double locking T.V. headrest and allows for easy opening and closing. They also are equipped with dual tubular legs for maximum support, a helically suspended polypropylene mattress deck which eliminates noisy and uncomfortable spring-wire, and a unique suspension crosswire in the critical weight area for enhanced support in the seating and sleeping positions. Pearson offers a choice of two different mattresses. The standard Pearson Mattress is a 5” thick innerspring coil unit (non reversible) encased in a luxuriously quilted top, with allergy-free, mildew resistant, odor-free padding. For a more luxurious option choose Pearson’s Air Dream Mattress option. This mattress offers the same plush dimensions and luxury feel as a premium mattress, with a spring coil base topped with a cushioning layer of air that inflates to 11” thick. The air cushion layer can be adjusted from plush firm to supportively soft, and includes an embedded inflation/deflation mechanism which inflates in under one minute.
