Atlantic Festival 2023

Este é o festival que dá as boas vindas ao verão. Conta já com mais de 20 anos de existência e atrai muitos turistas e locais ao coração da cidade.

Acontece durante todo o mês de junho e, a cada sábado do mês, um espetáculo piromusical diferente ilumina os céus da baía do Funchal. Apesar de este ser o ponto forte do evento, o festival proporciona também várias atividades culturais e de animação ao longo do referido mês.

Cada espetáculo piromusical é da autoria de um país diferente e é avaliado por um júri que decide qual deles é o melhor na arte de criar uma perfeita ligação entre a música e o fogo de artifício.

O show acontece durante 20 minutos e deixa todos de olhos postos no céu da Praça do Povo do Funchal.

Uma coisa é certa: noites quentes, boa disposição, brilho e animação não faltarão neste evento.

This festival welcomes summer with a bang! Running for over 20 years, it attracts many tourists and locals to the heart of the city.

The Festival takes place on the Saturdays during the month of June, with a different pyromusical show lighting up the skies over the bay of Funchal. Although the fireworks are the highlight, the event also provides various cultural activities and entertainment throughout the month.

Each pyromusical show is put on by a different country and is evaluated by a jury that decides which one is the best in the art of creating a perfect link between music and fireworks.

The show takes place over 20 minutes and leaves everyone with their eyes on the sky at the Praça do Povo in Funchal.

One thing is for sure: warm nights, good vibes, brightness and entertainment will always be present at this event.
