COLOR INSPIRATION A/W 2020/21
Letter From the Editor
The color vision for Autumn 2020/21 consists of four distinct palettes: Endless Sun, Winter Shores, Day’s End, and Forest Gems. Endless Sun brings the warmth of a summer day to the cold temperatures of winter. Winter Shores encourages strolls by the ocean to enjoy gentle sunset hues. Day’s End comes from the same sunset inspiration, but this time how the sun plays off of rocky stone cliffsides. Lastly, Forest Gems is a love letter to deep berry and forest fruit tones like pomegranate, that look just as moody and beautiful in the light as they do in the shadows. With these color inspirations, it’s possible to turn your wardrobe into a reflection of nature’s finest. Get out there and have a little fun with it. With love,

Inspired by the transition from summer to fall, Endless Sun is a collection of brights perfect for reminiscing on brunches by the beach on the vacations of yesterday. With the rising popularity of Neo Mint, these colors come as a natural evolution. These warm blues and greens pair well with neutrals or come together to create a palette surely meant to brighten your day.

Chilly weather shouldn’t keep you from your long walks on the beach. Winter Shores is a soft palette of muted blues and dusty purples that give winter whites a run for their money. These colors work in monochromatic looks or paired with darker hues for a high-contrast look.

When the day comes to an end, cliffside edges become softer and highlighted with warm glow. These warm natural hues combine to create a more understated look, with deep greens and sandy oranges dominating the scheme. The neutral palette has grown with the rise of sustainability and wellness trends, and so they mirror the natural inspiration. This appreciation translates will into basic everyday looks as well as serene home decor.
