e’re Mademoiselle Desserts UK, part of the wider Mademoiselle Desserts Group based in France. Our three bakeries in the U.K., in Maidenhead, Corby and Taunton have been working closley together for the past five years. Over that time, we have evolved our range across both our brands with new & exciting concepts to sit alongside our classic Cakes and Desserts. A significant part of this is gluten free alternatives and the 2022 Coeliac Awareness Week called for creating a condensed version of our core range brochure, with the aim to only feature our delicious gluten free products with a crossed grain license. A Cross Grain License is an internationally recognised, registered trademark that can only be used under licence on food and drink products that meet the Coeliac Society’s strict

criteria. For Gluten Free consumers, this represents safety and trust, while enabling them to quickly and easily recognise products that are safe to consume. Gluten Free Cakes that don’t compromise on quality and taste is a big deal for us at Mademoiselle Desserts. We first opened our gluten free segregated production facility on our Maidenhead site in 2013. We only had 4 lines back then. Building on the ever-growing demand for gluten free products from our customers, we extended our gluten free production area in 2020. This has allowed us to increase our production of gluten free lines by 30% and most importantly, to keep growing choice for Gluten Free consumers by creating gluten free desserts such as Cheesecakes and Puddings for the first time.
