This historic building has wonderful acoustics for musical groups, maple hardwood flooring for dancing and a period balcony offering great views of the massive stage. This Historic Auditorium seats up to 312 people in the balcony and 356 on the main floor (theatre style seating). The Hall can be accessed from an elevator or walk up the majestic steps that face Main Street leading into the foyer with the original ticket booth. In addition to the main floor, there are several rooms which can be used for serving food or set up space. The Hall is available for uses such as shows, dances, luncheons, weddings, banquets, reunions, special events, and more.
Waupun’s City Hall is much more than a government building. Its second floor is much more that an Election Day polling place. It’s the location of the Historic City Hall Auditorium, build in 1928, and the home of our community theater; the Wisconsin’s Got Talent Series plus it allows theater goers to experience regional and national talent right in their own back yard. Bobby Rivers started playing immediately after high school in a variety band. He played weddings with them for 8 years and in 1995 started a solo entertainment show called “Big City Bob”, which allowed him to do many different things using pre-recorded musical accompaniment, vocal impressions (about 80 different artists), legend tributes, private parties, dances and a multitude of genres. He continues to do solo shows and shows with his band. He has written and recorded hundreds of songs and dozens of albums available through http://cdbaby.com/cd/bobbyrivers45. Son of a Boy Named Sue remains his biggest seller. PAUL COLLINS He bought his first bass when he was 12. It was a black National and he thought it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen! He plays bass guitar, rhythm guitar, banjo and drums and sings a little too. THE SILVER FOX is a Local 205 Union drummer and an original member of the Nashville Rockabilly Hall of Fame Band and has backed national artists like Danny and the Juniors, Sonny Burgess, Navel Felts, Marti Brom and Slim Jim Phantom of the Stray Cats.

Before Neil Diamond (Hot August Night) became an adult contemporary mega-star he was a good time rock-n-roller from New York known as the “Jewish Elvis.” Armed with a pocket full of amazing songs that he still sings in concert today, he took America by surprise. Enjoy these early songs through the incredibly accurate vocal impressions of Bobby Rivers Live. Also included are impressions of other rockers of the 60’s during this same time period, Monkees, Beatles, Sam the Sham, The Troggs, Tommy James, The McCoys, Elvis, Van Morrison and more.

Jeffery Broussard was born in Lafayette, LA on March 10, 1967. One of the most influential accordionists and vocalists in modern Zydeco music, Broussard continues to be one of the genre’s most dynamic performers. Jeffery Broussard is well, the real deal. Dedicated to preserving and promoting the Creole culture and traditional Zydeco music, Jeffery plays with passion and commitment to carry on his daddy’s legacy. He has continually been an innovator, beginning his career with traditional Creole Zydeco music playing drums in his father’s band, Delton Broussard & The Lawtell Playboys, then developed the nouveau Zydeco sound in Zydeco Force, now returning to the more traditional Zydeco sound with his own band, Jeffery Broussard and The Creole Cowboys. Jeffery Broussard and The Creole Cowboys were part of the 2013 line-up at Celebrate Waupun on the Celebrate Louisiana stage.

The Cajun Vagabonds play traditional Cajun and Zydeco music with an occasional rock, funk or swing classic. The band generates the perfect mix of dance-oriented music for dances, festivals, parties and other events where people want to enjoy a dance groove. High energy and spontaneity are distinctive features of a Cajun Vagabonds performance. The band began when two precocious ten-year old musician friends and one dad performed at a house party. In typical Cajun style, all the furniture was removed from the largest room in the house, the band found its groove and the whole house rocked on its foundations as enthusiastic guests danced for hours. The band has continued to play regularly for events and celebrations where people get up and dance. The Cajun Vagabonds played at Celebrate Waupun 2013 on the Louisiana Stage.

Since Billy Branch’s first Blues in Schools program in Chicago thirty years ago, he has delivered his empowering curriculum to students all over the world. For example, the Ford Foundation funded a 2 week program in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico to demonstrate the common legacy of African-American and African-Mexican cultural roots. Billy Branch’s Blues in Schools interactive program provides students with the opportunity to: • Develop collaboration & teamwork skills • Cultivate multi-cultural appreciation • Enhance their creative expression • Practice their writing skills • Broaden their horizons • Explore their musical interests & aptitudes • Interact with world class musicians • Increase their understanding of American History

After writing original songs, learning old Blues standards and developing musical performance skills, the students perform at a local festival or venue with Billy Branch & the Sons of Blues! Billy Branch was discovered by Willie Dixon, the “father of modern Chicago Blues,” while Billy was still in college. Willie encouraged Billy to finish his college education, which he did, but instead of going to law school after receiving his political science degree, Billy began touring with the Willie Dixon Chicago All-Stars. This gave Billy the unique opportunity to travel and work as an understudy for the legendary Carey Bell who was planning to leave the All-Stars and form his own band. When Carey took his leave, the young Billy Branch took his place, touring with Willie Dixon for 6 years. Since those early days, Billy has played on over 150 different recordings, including 12 under his own name. He’s recorded with Willie Dixon, Johnny Winter, Lou Rawls, Koko Taylor, Eddy Clearwater, Honeyboy Edwards, Syl Johnson, Lurrie Bell, Lonnie Brooks, Ronnie Baker Brooks, John Primer, and Taj Mahal, just to name a few. In addition, he has received three Grammy nominations (losing one nomination to BB King and Eric Clapton). He served two consecutive terms on the Grammy Board of Governors, and founded the Grammy Blues Committee. In addition, he has won multiple W.C. Handy Awards from the Blues Foundation, an Emmy Award, an Addy Award (this is like an Oscar for TV ads), two Chicago Music Awards, and numerous humanitarian achievement awards. Billy Branch has become the ambassador of the Chicago Blues. During his 6 week tour of Turkey, he represented the USA in Turkey’s Parliament, teaching political party leaders to play harmonica! Thousands of fans showed up every night of the week to experience the authentic Chicago Blues! He and his band, the Sons of Blues have delivered this cultural legacy around the world, having made over 70 international tours. The 2007 Chicago Blues Festival honored the thirtieth anniversary of Billy Branch and the Sons of Blues with a 3 hour performance. In fact, they also headlined the 2011 Chicago Blues Festival. Mose Rutues Jr. has been the drummer for the Sons of Blues for nearly 30 years. His intense energy and unique rhythmic style is the engine that powers the stylistic diversity of the Sons of Blues. Marvin Little is the newest member. In addition to being an accomplished bass player, he is a successful producer, having worked with many stars of other genres. Sumito Ariyoshi, aka Ariyo is internationally recognized for his vigorous innovative piano style. Ariyo is both an accomplished arranger and sought-after studio musician. Dan Carelli, guitarist, has emerged as a player with the depth and maturity of an old Chicago Blues man; true to the classics, but willing to spice it up with fresh new licks.

The Foggy Valley Boyz is a 5 piece band that specializes in performing live Classic Country music. We are one of the first Northeast Wisconsin bands to combine this genre with a live dinner show in the area. We are part of the dance club circuit which brings together a lot of fun energy during our shows. The dinner and live music show combination is popular and has been warmly received by a growing audience and fan base here in the Fox River Valley.

The Fortunate Sons bring the ultimate C.C.R. experience to the stage with a tribute truly fitting of their legacy! Each member portrays the playing style and appearance of Creedence in their prime. Drummer Jeff Philippe as “Cosmo” Clifford, bassist Dave Greene as Stu Cook, and guitarist Juan Ortiz as Tom Fogerty bring the swamp and the stomp to the stage, rough and rocking as the originals. Blazing over it all is the heart-stopping guitar and howling vocals of Jed Taylor, restoring John Fogerty’s bayou-blues to its former glory. Features the White Raven, formerly with Dr. Bop and the Headliners. Those Weasels are a duo that play lots of well known oldies mixed in with Stones, Dylan, Credence, a little trop rock and more. It’s not Dr. Bop, but it’s clear the spirit of that great band lives in Al Craven and Bob Kenison. They share stories of its glory days — the 1970s — easily. The time they opened for Chuck Berry up in Oshkosh. Or when, at their peak, they played six straight sellout nights at the Whiskey-a-Go-Go in Los Angeles.

Riders In The Sky are truly exceptional. By definition, empirical data and critical acclaim, they stand “hats & shoulders” above the rest of the purveyors of C & W - “Comedy & Western!” For more than thirty years Riders In The Sky have been keepers of the flame passed on by the Sons of the Pioneers, Gene Autry and

Roy Rogers, reviving and revitalizing the genre. And while remaining true to the integrity of Western music, they have themselves become modern-day icons by branding the genre with their own legendary wacky humor and way-out Western wit, all along encouraging buckaroos and buckarettes to live life “The Cowboy Way!” The animated character that history will most certainly link to Riders In The Sky is the loveable cowboy Woody, as Riders performed “Woody’s Round Up” in “Toy Story 2,” with the album of the same name garnering Riders their first Grammy Award in 2001 for “Best Musical Album for Children.” Two years later, Riders roped their second Grammy in the same category, for “Monsters Inc. - Scream Factory Favorites,” the companion CD to Pixar’s award winning movie. Ultimately, exceptional careers do not go unnoticed, and throughout theirs, Riders In The Sky have been honored regularly. In addition to being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, Riders are in the Western Music Association’s Hall of Fame, the Country Music Foundation’s Walkway of Stars and the Walk of Western Stars along with Gene, Roy, John Wayne and other cowboy legends. No less important than their two Grammies, Riders have been the Western Music Association’s “Entertainers Of the Year” seven times, and won “Traditional Group of the Year” and “Traditional Album of the Year” multiple times. The Academy of Western Artists has named them “Western Music Group of the Year” twice in 5 years, and the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum has bestowed Riders with their Wrangler Award statuette three times. It comes as no surprise then that Billboard magazine’s Jim Bessman counts them as one of “the most historically significant acts in the history of American music.” Yes, it would be “The Easy Way” to call it a career after 30-plus years, but it wouldn’t be...”The Cowboy Way”! Yes, Riders In The Sky are truly an exception to the rule.

Wow it’s been Fifteen years since we started this! Frank, first got involved in theater in middle school and then later in high school and college. He lost track of theater, trying to further his career, in his twenties. Then in 1994 he saw that St. Norbert was having auditions for “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat”. He wanted the role of Joseph so badly. Frank, Joe Kiedinger and Paul Desperito were called back for the lead role of Joseph. Frank was so excited, but being 6’3″ 240 lbs., he was not going to get the part. He did get the part however of “Reuben” the eldest brother. It was probably the most influential time in my life. First, he found out that he loved doing this theater stuff; second, he met some of the most influential people in his life. Joe Kiedinger, and the Birders, who run St. Norbert summer Music Theater. Back to his good friend Joe Kiedinger; Frank called him one day and asked him to start a dinner theater troupe with him; Frank’s Dinner Theater. Of course Joe did not hesitate. They called all their old friends from St. Norbert, UWGB and all their other acting friends. Most of them joined and are still with Let Me Be Franks today (Amy Riemer, Pat Hibbard, Tom Verbrick, Lisa Borley, Dennis Panneck, Tony Pilz, Emily Paulsen and David and Kelly Gusloff, Ben Cahall, Kasey Corrado, Adam Cain, and Jeff Arnold). Pat Hibbard and Frank write the shows now and no longer are we just doing review shows. Now we are actually writing stories with the music as a huge focus. The future is so bright for Let Me Be Frank Productions. Their move to the Historic Meyer Theatre in Green Bay only solidifies their place in the theater history of North Eastern Wisconsin. Frank’s Dinner Theater’s first show was the “Temp” Feburary 2000 at the Sports Corner in Depere in an upstairs banquet room. They had two wonderful years there until they moved to their new digs at the SC Grand on HWY 41. The SC Grand was their home until 2007 when they were handed the golden key from PMI and became the main tenants of the Meyer Theatre. Now in their 8th glorious year at the historic Meyer Theatre. Since our inception, Let Me Be Frank has coined 87 original scripts for musical theater. Taking their shows on the road was the next step for Let Me Be Frank Productions which brings them to Waupun’s Historic City Hall Auditorium. They hope to continue to entertain you for many years to come! And remember…….. Get your laugh on with Franks’
