Pearlsing

There once lived an ocean princess, with a crown that made colorful sounds. She would pick one sound each day and gift it to the sea-oysters. They would turn these sounds into pearls and give it to the sea men. The waves guided the sea men out of danger and towards a safe shore that housed a factory for pearls.

The factory was called ‘Purpearl’. Every day men and women would come to the factory to make boxes from coconut leaves. The men and women performed a ritual before making the boxes. They would wear their uniform and fold their hands to the coconut leaves.

Once they made the green leaf box it was carefully packed, each with one pearl from the princess. The pearls became famous in Waterfall land. Who would have known a thing as singing pearls? Each pearl with a unique note! The Waterfall landers came up with an idea to gather the pearls.

Their delight knew no bounds! The singing pearls became a cinematic orchestra! It was not long before the prince of Waterfall Land came to know about the singing pearls. He could not stop listening to the pearls. Each night, each day he would carry the pearls with him everywhere he went

He was under a spell! The Waterfall Landers grew concerned for their prince. They tried to distract him. They brought him delicious food from far away lands, entertaining stories from other planets and strange creatures never seen before. Nothing distracted him from his pearls.

They went to the snake saint who knew how to break spells. This was no ordinary snake saint. He told them that the spell could only be broken by the prince himself. He had to find the one who made the pearls and only then would he find the key to break the spell.

The prince did not want to stop listening to the singing pearls, but he was curious to know who made these pearls. So, he set out to seek who made the pearls. First, to the factory, then he went to the sea men and finally into the sea to the oysters. The oysters showed him a way into an underwater oceanworld.

The oceanworld was dangerous and beautiful at the same time. It was here he heard the colorful sounds from the crown of the Ocean princess. He had found the voice of the singing pearls at last!
