We innovate with customers to help enhance and feed the world by designing & delivering custom-engineered products in the Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical & Chemical Industries. Our Innovation Centre in Silkeborg provides the space to work with our customers to drive innovation in advanced filtration processes to support sustainable solutions to their manufacturing questions. We are making significant investments in creating new products with many new projects in the pipeline. We are now looking for a personable and customer-focused NPD Engineer to help support our membrane filtration projects.
About the role
As a New Product Development Engineer, you’ll be providing engineering support to our various projects around the globe. You’ll do this by participating in New Product Development and Research & Development projects assigned to you. On a day-to-day basis your main responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Supporting the Engineering team with calculations and defining
KPI’s • Supporting the sales team with advice and technology presentations • In-house training of engineers in technology and designing tools • Participating in work with internal initiatives, universities and consumers with a focus on graduate programmes • Keep updated on the latest trends and developments in membrane technology • Handling new and existing patents This is a standalone role, so we’ll be counting on your support. But don’t worry – our highly-knowledgeable colleagues at the Innovation Centre are a friendly bunch, so there’ll be plenty of help and support. What’s more, you’ll also have the advice of our membranes subject matter expert to hand to discuss ideas with. With all this help, you’ll be more than empowered to drive yourself forward to find the best solutions for our customers. Due to the global nature of the role, you can also expect to be travelling for around 10% of your time.
Requirements
We’re looking for engineers who are good with people and willing to take full ownership of their work. If you have that passion to support others by solving complex problems, we’d like to hear from you. As a minimum, we’re looking for you to have: • Experience in designing membrane plants • Experience working in the Food & Beverage industry • Master’s degree in Dairy/Food Processing, Mechanical or
Chemical Engineering or a related field Although not essential, it would also be nice if you have: • Experience working in a similar role • Experience working with Excel in a technical context • Practical experience working with membranes
