AT HOLME GRANGE

Holme Grange Craft Village is a hidden gem in the heart of the countryside, just 2 minutes from Wokingham Town Centre, offering a unique shopping experience. With independent traders and artisan crafters working in a collection of converted barns, visitors can browse in a relaxed environment. Offering a wide range of products, as well as numerous workshops and classes, there is also a fabulous coffee house in an historic barn opening onto a beautiful enclosed courtyard where you can sit and relax while you enjoy your refreshment. With activities to keep the kids entertained and special events running throughout the year, including the ever popular weekend craft markets, and with lots of free carparking, including designated disabled parking and toilet and baby changing facilities Holme Grange really is a ‘destination’ waiting to be discovered.

The Grange Chocolate Cafe

Cocktail Chat with Wokingham Local is new, different, energetic and vibrant, and don’t just take my word for it - take a look at the comments from our first ever gathering back in February this year on the testimonials page of the website, and you can see just how enjoyable and engaged our Wokingham entrepreneurs and business owners were following the event. New contacts and friendships have been established since, and lots of genuine business has happened as a result. Now that’s what I call networking!

Our second Cocktail Chat in April, again hosted by the team at Grasshopper cocktail bar on Rose Street, was photographed by brand photographer Leanne Du Plessis - a BIG thank you to her for these amazing images of everyone having a great time. There were too many attendees to mention them all individually here, however, I would like to thank our sponsor - Rory of Pratts Pods, and also a few of our guest speakers, including Abbie of ClickStyle, Ghizlane of Walfinch homecare, and the very talented and entertaining Chris of Therapycise. It was again, another fantastic evening, so much so, that I am constantly being asked when we will be hosting another. I have the privilege of announcing that we will be at the Grange Chocolate Café at Holme Grange Craft Village on the evening of the 8th of September, and a limited number of tickets are available to purchase on the ‘events’ page of our website - https://www.wokinghamlocal.co.uk/events Everyone’s welcome, you don’t have to be a contributor or advertiser with the magazine, just come along with a view to having an interest in our Wokingham Local business community, and having a fun, friendly, and great social evening with ‘like minded’ people - who knows where it will lead? Plus, there is a complimentary glass of fizz upon arrival and canapés and refreshments (including cocktails of course) available throughout the evening.
