Magento 2 Surcharge helps charging customers’ orders with additional fees or charges like small order fee, group surcharge, country and region fee and product surcharge.

1. Extension Installation Guide • Go to My downloadable products. The file that you download normally is a zip file. • Use FTP client (such as Filezilla, WinSCP, cuteFtp) to upload or copy all folders in the zip package to your Magneto site root folder. This will not overwrite any existing files, just add new files to the folder structure. • Open Command line in folder root of Magento and run following command respectively: o php bin/magento setup:upgrade o php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy o php bin/magento indexer:reindex o php bin/magento cache:flush • Navigate to Stores/Configuration, if you can see the extension tab, it is installed properly. • If you need professional help regarding Magento Extension Installation, Feel free to contact us any time. 2. Configuration Once you have successfully installed the extension, go to Stores Configuration to configure the extension for use. 3. Payment Surcharge It’s a surcharge type that can be applied on orders to charge fees on use of various payment methods. Here, you can add 2 payment surcharges based on 2 different settings and conditions. • Enable: Select YES to enable payment surcharge. • Payment Methods: Select payment methods to apply surcharge on. • Payment Surcharge Type: Select payment surcharge type. • Payment Cost (%): Enter payment cost in percentage. • Payment Cost (Fixed): Enter payment cost as fixed amount. • Payment Surcharge Label: Enter label to show country fee in frontend. • Apply Group Filter: Select YES to apply group filter on this surcharge type.

4. Enforce Minimum Amount It’s a surcharge type that can be applied on orders to force users spend minimum selected amount for purchase. If the minimum amount set from backend does not meet the configuration, orders are forced with added an extra fee. • Enable: Select YES to enable minimum amount surcharge. • Minimum Amount: Enter minimum amount to enforce users spending to avoid application of this surcharge. • Enforce Minimum Amount Fee Label: Enter label to show minimum amount fee in frontend. • Apply Group Filter: Select YES to apply group filter on this surcharge type. • Only for Customer Groups: Select customer groups on which you want to apply group filter.

5. Small Order Fee It’s a surcharge type that can be applied on orders to encourage people spend at least minimum amount set from backend. If the order amount is lesser than set, fee is added to order amount. • Enable: Select YES to enable small order fee. • Minimum Amount: Enter minimum amount to charge customers with small order fee if order total is below this specified amount. • Small Order Fee: Enter fee amount to charge. • Small Order Fee Label: Enter label to show small order fee in frontend. • Apply Group Filter: Select YES to apply group filter on this surcharge type.

6. Group Surcharge It’s a surcharge type that can be applied on orders of specific customer groups. You can add 2 group surcharges with different settings are per your requirements. • Enable: Select YES to enable group surcharge. • Customer Group: Select customer groups to apply this surcharge on. • Payment Surcharge Type: Select payment surcharge type. • Payment Cost (%): Enter payment cost in percentage. • Payment Cost (Fixed): Enter payment cost as fixed amount. • Group Surcharge Label: Enter label to show group surcharge in frontend.

7. Country Fee It’s a surcharge type that can be applied on orders from specific countries based on shipping or billing address. You can add 2 country fee based on 2 different countries if needed. • Enable: Select YES to enable country fee. • Countries: Select countries to apply this surcharge on. • Based On: Select address type to charge country fee based on. • Payment Surcharge Type: Select payment surcharge type. • Payment Cost (%): Enter payment cost in percentage. • Payment Cost (Fixed): Enter payment cost as fixed amount. • Country Fee Label: Enter label to show country fee in frontend. • Apply Group Filter: Select YES to apply group filter on this surcharge type.

8. Region Fee It’s a surcharge type that can be applied on orders from specific regions of countries based on shipping or billing address. You get the option to add 2 regions fees to configure for 2 various locations based on unique settings. • Enable: Select YES to enable region fee. • Based On: Select address type to charge country fee based on. • Region: Select regions to apply this surcharge on. • Payment Surcharge Type: Select payment surcharge type. • Payment Cost (%): Enter payment cost in percentage. • Payment Cost (Fixed): Enter payment cost as fixed amount. • Region Fee Label: Enter label to show region fee in frontend. • Apply Group Filter: Select YES to apply group filter on this surcharge type.

9. Product Surcharge It’s a surcharge type that can be applied per product, per order or on specific product. It’s used when you want to apply same surcharge fees to multiple products. • Enable: Select YES to enable product surcharge. • Product Surcharge Type: Select product surcharge type. • Product Surcharge Fee Type: Select product surcharge fee type. • Product Cost (%): Enter surcharge cost in percentage. • Product Cost (Fixed): Enter surcharge cost as fixed amount. • Product Surcharge Fee Label: Enter label to show product surcharge in frontend.

10. Product Specific Surcharge Whenever you want to add different surcharge fees for different store products, product specific surcharge settings are used. Simply upload a CSV with your product IDs and surcharge values. When users will add 2 different products having different surcharge amount into the cart, this surcharge will be applied and shown under the title of this surcharge method.

11. Deactivation of Extension in Case of Emergency Go to app etc config.php and find 'Magecomp_Surcharge' => 1, and replace 1 with 0. If something goes wrong, please contact us at https://magecomp.com/support/ 12. FAQs • What if I get “Access denied” error after installation of the extension? Whenever you get Access denied error while clicking on the extension tab after installation, log out admin panel and re-login.
