On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Day 2: RIO DE JANEIRO (B) Half day trip to the top of Corcovado Mountain. Catch a small train through the Tijuca forest, before reaching the top to see the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. Day 3: RIO DE JANEIRO (B) Cable car trip to one of the city’s favorite landmarks, Sugarloaf mountain; the famous granite and quartz peaks overlooking Guanabara bay. Day 4: RIO DE JANEIRO – IGUAZU FALLS (B) Flight to Iguazu falls. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Afternoon tour of the Brazilian side of the falls, for a panoramic view of the 275 falls spanning nearly 3 kilometres. Day 5: IGUAZU FALLS (B) Guided walk along the many trails on the Argentine side of the falls, including a small train journey to the impressive Devil’s Throat. Day 6: IGUAZU FALLS – BUENOS AIRES (B) Transfer to airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Day 7: BUENOS AIRES (B D) Half day tour of South America’s stylish capital, Buenos Aires, whose architecture and boulevard are influenced by a strong European heritage. Visit the bohemian street market of La Boca, the tango barrio of San Telmo and the famous Recoleta cemetery, home to the resting place of Eva Peron. In the evening, experience the tango in all its glory and sample the succulent local beef with a dinner and show.

Day 1: AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND – SANTIAGO - GUAYAQUIL Upon arrival transfer to your hotel in Guayaquil. Day 2: GUAYAQUIL – GALAPAGOS ISLANDS (B, D) Transfer to the airport for your flight to Galapagos (flight not included). Arrive on Baltra Island the gateway to the Galapagos. Transfer to an exclusive giant tortoise reserve for your stay. Day 3: GALAPAGOS ISLANDS (B) Explore Puerto Ayora’s Bay Exploration navigating La Loberia Island a snorkelling hotspot for sea turtles, colourful fish and inquisitive sea lions. Hike to Túnel del Amor (lover’s tunnel) for breathtaking views. On return visit Punta Estrada’s dock to observe marine iguanas. OPTIONAL ALTERNATIVE EXPERIENCE GARRAPATERO BEACH, CHARLES DARWIN RESEARCH STATION & ARTISAN VISITS Day 4: GALAPAGOS ISLANDS (B, L) Embark your yacht for expert led excursions to nearby islands. Visits may include North Seymour, South Plazas, Sante Fe Island, Bartolome and Sullivan Bay. Later disembark and transfer to your hotel in Puerto Ayora. Day 6: LIMA (B) Half-day city tour of modern and colonial of Lima the “City of Kings”. Begin in Miraflores with stops at Parque del Amor (Lovers Park), Presidential Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Municipality of Lima and the Cathedral. Day 7: LIMA – CUZCO – SACRED VALLEY (B) Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Cuzco (flight not included). Upon arrival in Cuzco you will be met and then transferred to your choice of hotel in the Sacred Valley. Have the rest of the day at leisure to rest and adjust to the altitude. Day 8: SACRED VALLEY – AGUAS CALIENTES (B, L) Head to Chinchero to visit PARWA Centre, Chinchero Church and Incan ruins. Stop at Racchi Viewpoint for spectacular views of the Sacred Valley. After lunch head to Ollantaytambo to explore the town and fortress of the same name. Afternoon train to Machu Picchu. Overnight at your choice of hotel in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu). Day 9: MACHU PICCHU – CUZCO (B, L) Transfer to visit the ancient citadel Machu Picchu. After your guided tour you are free to explore on your own. Descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later for the return trip. Arrive at Poroy Station and transfer back to your choice of hotel in Cuzco.

Day 10: CUZCO (B) Day at leisure to explore this beautiful colonial city. OPTIONAL CITY TOUR, SACSAYHUAMAN, AND NEARBY ARCHEOLOGICAL SITES
