CONCORSO D'ELEGANZA

Esclusività e charme come ogni anno si sono incontrate a Villa d’Este per il tradizionale Concorso d’Eleganza che dal 1929 si svolge sulle rive del lago di Como. Organizzato dal 2005 da Bmw Group Classic, in collaborazione con Villa d’Este, la tre giorni di Cernobbio è l’evento motoristico più atteso dagli appassionati di tutto il mondo. Una passerella di automobili leggendarie che la giuria di esperti giudica in base a design, originalità e stato di conservazione. Due giorni per soli ospiti e una giornata per il grande pubblico nel parco di Villa Erba, il Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este Public Day, con una sfilata di tutti i gioielli a quattro ruote. Il premio “Trofeo Bmw Group – Best of Show”, il più alto di tutti i riconoscimenti che vengono assegnati a Cernobbio, è andato per questa edizione a una Duesenberg SJ Speedster con carrozzeria concepita da Gurney Nutting del 1935. L’orgoglioso proprietario, William Lyon, ha ricevuto il premio direttamente dalle mani di Helmut Käs, Head of Bmw Group Classic e Presidente del Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, e da Wilhelm Schmid, ceo di A. Lange und Söhne. La storica Coppa d’Oro Villa d’Este assegnata dal pubblico è andata alla Ferrari 250 GT Spyder California del 1961 di Jonathan Hui, Keybridge Collection, Hong Kong, che con la sua elegante carrozzeria made in Pininfarina e in Scaglietti ha raccolto il consenso dei presenti. L’edizione 2023 del prestigioso Concorso d’Eleganza è stata caratterizzata anche da numerosi momenti celebrativi. Due classi di premio sono state dedicate ad anniversari della cultura automobilistica celebrate quest’anno come Porsche che ha compiuti 75 anni e un secolo della 24 ore di Le Mans. L’appuntamento è fissato per il 17 e il 19 maggio 2024, ovviamente sempre sulle rive del Lago di Como.
