Riva Mobili D’Arte Artisan for the future

In occasione della Milano Design Week 2023, Riva Mobili D’Arte, eccellenza dell’arredo di lusso, ha realizzato Artisan for the Future, un’installazione di preziosi mobili in un’esposizione innovativa e interattiva presso Spazio Lenovo, ecosistema di innovazione digitale nel cuore di Milano. Principali protagonisti erano i Masterpiece della collezione Comacina, la più recente creazione di Riva Mobili D'Arte che, grazie ai suoi dettagli raffinati, rappresenta la massima espressione della creatività, del savoir faire e dell'ingegno creativo della Maison. Al primo piano di Spazio Lenovo, era esposto un immenso tavolo di oltre 8 metri, con intarsi e pregiata madreperla, che sostituiva parzialmente nell’area bistrot le normali sedute. Al piano terra, al centro della scena, il Pianoforte, uno storico Steinway & Sons di fine ‘800, revisionato all'interno per rendere il suono perfetto e realizzato completamente nella parte estetica con l’inconfondibile stile di Riva Mobili D’Arte. Un oggetto dal fascino intramontabile, in pregiata madreperla, il cui colore bianco perlaceo cangiante arricchisce con il proprio splendore gli intarsi delle creazioni del marchio. Tutti i giorni il progetto espositivo ha preso vita grazie alle performance degli studenti del Conservatorio di Milano, protagonisti ogni sera di un diverso concerto tra brani classici ed elettronici. Per la collezione Comacina, il processo creativo è iniziato con un sogno, un desiderio, che poi si è trasformato in uno schizzo e infine ha preso forma.

"Come estimatore del lago di Como e della sua bellezza, molte delle collezioni di Riva Mobili D'Arte nascono dall'ispirazione delle cose che mi circondano. Mi lascio guidare dai panorami, dai colori e dagli aromi” spiega Francesco Riva, fondatore di Riva Mobili D'Arte. “L'Isola Comacina è una striscia di terra circondata dal Lago di Como e raggiungibile in barca. Con la sua natura meravigliosa e i suoi splendidi paesaggi, è un piccolo gioiello del territorio italiano". Una collezione dalle linee sinuose ma decise, con decorazioni floreali e morbide sfumature pastello. Un trionfo di forme e colori che affascina grazie alla precisione dei dettagli, ai delicati intagli che abbracciano i profili sinuosi e ai maestosi intarsi che richiamano la bellezza della natura.

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2023, Riva Mobili D'Arte, excellence in luxury furniture, created Artisan for the Future, an installation of precious furniture in an innovative and interactive exhibition at Spazio Lenovo, a digital innovation ecosystem in the heart of Milan. The main protagonists were the Masterpieces of the Comacina collection, the most recent creation of Riva Mobili D'Arte, which, thanks to its refined details, represents the highest expression of the Maison's creativity, savoir faire and creative ingenuity. On the first floor of Spazio Lenovo, an immense table of more than 8 meters, with inlays and fine mother-of-pearl, was on display, partially replacing normal seating in the bistro area. On the ground floor, center stage was the Piano, a historical Steinway & Sons from the late 1800s, overhauled inside to make the sound perfect and completely realized in the aesthetic part with the unmistakable style of Riva Mobili D'Arte. An object of timeless charm, in precious mother-of-pearl, whose iridescent pearly white color enriches with its own splendor the inlays of the brand's creations.

Every day the exhibition project came to life thanks to the performances of the students of the Milan Conservatory, protagonists each evening of a different concert between classical and electronic pieces. For the Comacina collection, the creative process began with a dream, a wish, which then turned into a sketch and finally took shape. "As an admirer of Lake Como and its beauty, many of Riva Mobili D'Arte's collections are born from the inspiration of the things that surround me. I let myself be guided by the views, colors and aromas," explains Francesco Riva, founder of Riva Mobili D'Arte. "Isola Comacina is a strip of land surrounded by Lake Como and reachable by boat. With its wonderful nature and beautiful landscapes, it is a small jewel of the Italian territory." A collection with sinuous but strong lines, with floral decorations and soft pastel shades. A triumph of shapes and colors that captivates thanks to the precision of the details, the delicate carvings that embrace the sinuous profiles and the majestic inlays that recall the beauty of nature.
