Building Excellence Together Magnificat Celebrates Completion of the Sisters of the Humility of Mary Center for Science Exploration and Innovation
Guided by Mrs. Shannon Scott McHale ’96, students investigate the one dimensional motion of a cart on a track using the motion sensor in the new Physics lab.
Dear Friends, It is with great pride and gratitude that we share with you the news that Magnificat High School has met and exceeded the original four million dollar fundraising goal set for the Sisters of the Humility of Mary Center for Science Exploration and Innovation. When we publicly announced this goal in October 2019, no one could have known the challenges that would come in the days that followed. Yet even in the midst of a global pandemic, the Magnificat Community continued to support this important endeavor, and we completed this phase of the Building Excellence Together capital campaign more than a year earlier than we originally anticipated. This is a testament to the commitment and resilience of the Magnificat Community, and someday soon we hope to be able to gather safely to celebrate this remarkable achievement. In the meantime, we are grateful to the many donors who made this space possible, and we hope to have more good news in the not-too-distant future as we near the completion of the Building Excellence Together capital campaign. Sincerely,
