On 5 May 2019 Bourne Water Dragons (BWD) was born.

BWD is the first in the UK to have a dragon boat with men and women who have all different cancers and want to paddle to a fitter, better way of life. Not only will you make wonderful new friends, BWD always have a laugh and fun whenever they meet, and are lucky to have the River Stour to play on, with its beautiful wildlife.

Annual Art Competition: July

Once again, Stanpit Village Hall will be holding it’s annual Art Competition where the winning entry will be displayed on the front of the village for a whole year. Bure Probus Club

A well established club for retired business men, meeting 9 times a year on the 4th Wednesday of the month at Christchurch Harbour Hotel, Mudeford. Also 3 joint meetings to include wives and partners at South Lawn Hotel, Milford-on-Sea.
