MCPs Word Dear Candidates, Congratulations to your decision to take a first look at this booklet outlining requirements and showing the way to become the Congress Committee President of the AIESEC in Tunisia for the MENA XLDS 2014 Today, AIESEC in Tunisia is undoubtedly growing at all aspects and levels. We know the dream will be carried on. It is a great honor to invite the whole AIESEC world in our country and let them enjoy the spirit we have and the world-famous hospitality of Tunisia and the AIESEC traditions in Tunisia. MENA XLDS 2014, a great event that needs a great leader to drive the Congress initiative, manage and coordinate all individuals involved in the organizing process. The conference needs a person, who will take the responsibility of the Congress’s success, who will gain the interest of the external environment as well as AIESEC in Tunisia members to commit to Congress. Today, we are opening the application for the Congress Committee President for IMENA XLDS 2014 and enclosed in this document, you will find additional information what you need to get to know the expectation in term of competencies and skills, the job role of the CCP. JD of CCP Role of the CCP In general, the role of the CCP is to create the conference big picture through understanding and harmonizing all processes between the CC and various internal and external stakeholders, and align all levels and entities working on the conference with this purpose, to achieve overall satisfaction and high reputation for AIESEC in Tunisia.
Job description of the CCP Representativity • Official Contact & Manager of MENA XLDS 2014 • Official spokes person for the project to Media & External Stakeholders Strategic management and internal accountability • Strategic Planning for the project • Link between the Congress Committee and MC Tunisia 12-13 and MC Tunisia 13-14 • The CCP is also overall accountable to these 3 bodies Team‐Management • Designing basic team structure • Ensuring filling all CC positions (with Tunisian and international members as well) • Selection, Training & Management of the Core‐CC Team • Selection, Training & Management of the Team Leaders and Teamsters • On‐site coordination of around 30 members of Congress Committee • Periodic Review of Progress • Constant facilitation of Project Review mechanisms Stakeholder’s satisfaction • Periodic Reporting to MC Tunisia • Creating and managing organizational formula, structure and legal procedures • Creating and managing legal and financial relationship between AIESEC in Tunisia and the CC • Final responsible for the conference Budget • Post‐Congress warm‐down, Audit & Project report • Ensure the accomplishment of the budget of MENA XLDS 2014

Application Process In general, the CCP term requires full commitment as a full-‐time job. Averagely you can expect 25-40 hours of work per week, which can be higher coming closer to the conference, and lower in calmer periods.
