1.2. Political Situation in the country Tunisia was a safe country for foreign visitors before the revolution of the 14 th of January in 2014 and it is still safe and welcoming for it's visitors. You can independently use public transport and rental cars without any fear of any danger that can happen to you. Tunisian people are internationally known as open and friendly to travelers. Thus you would feel extremely safe the whole time. Negative comments/reactions would not happen during your stay in Tunisia as much as you stay careful. If you ask any Tunisian about safety in Tunisia he or she would explain to you that the problem was political, between Tunisian people, and tourists are well welcomed. http://www.cntraveler.com/daily-traveler/2012/09/tunisia-embassay-attack-travel-faq http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-01-24/tunisia-the-next-big-travel-destination.html http://www.experience-tunisia.org
